Rakly3 u sure? it worked for me, try turning off and on your pass through in the options, cuz a few times i had to do that on sum videos, i think it's a glitch or sumn...

But that noir video worked, Still Lil shadowy tho, but I was able to zoom her out and place her looking like she was sitting on my floor while she was talking and looking at me...was pertty cool. 👍

    Rakly3 No it does have passtrough. You can see what I think is a lamp or something @1:49. It's just that his room is also dark. metaverse Correct me if I'm wrong,

          Rakly3 I'm pretty sure when you record footage from the heaset like that, it doesn't capture the passthrough image, for privacy purposes, so it's only capturing what SLR is rendering on screen, and the passthrough sections appear "black" as they are blank in that video capture.

            Ok I'm sold on the black backgrounds, black backgrounds use less option fiddling, I was watching a jav video from a studio called wanz factory...

            These two models were standing over this guy as he layed in a cg position, dude had on black pants, so anything black automatically gets see through when turn on the passthrough, and then of course you might have to adjust accordingly. But nvm that...
            So he has on black so of course his pants see through, man these models bending over looking like they standing on my bed over me, their heads close to my lap and of course I'm there with my D in my hand, they touch guys lap which looks like they touching me and around my D. So it was looking pertty cool, so I'm sold on the black backgrounds. 👍🥂

            Also I tried the splinevr videos here, if u put the passthrough on, opacity at 99 or 98 and color at -1 you can see how good a black background would work. Black background take less fiddling with the settings....

            Once they start filming for actual passthrough it's gonna be really great!👍

            We probably can make some editor to create passthrough masks for every video out there. Doesn’t have to be green screen

            My method used was turn on passthrough
            Put opacity 98 or 99, and color around-1 or 2

            It's not perfect but you can an
            idea how it could work. 👍

              The irony is that the scene was going to be shot differently and with a background but we had technical difficulties and I remember being salty that day; Bob Ross was right though, happy accidents!

                The guy has on a black shirt so I could see a how a male model wearing black shirt would work cuz i could see my chest as if she was on top of me, mean while her body solid with no see through, also cool effect with the bed cuz it looks like the bed in my room and I'm laying totally on a different bed, lol

                Her eyes see through tho, but you get the idea how it would work with a black shirt wearing male model , and the bed looks like u laying on it. Pretty cool 👍🥂

                Edit: also play around with lighting in your room bright, brighter, dimm dimmer, turn it off and turn on turn tracking off if u on oculus, adds different effect with the see through,

                humm 🤔 wonder if I left a light where's its kinda dark and darken the picture if it will look like we in the dark having sex, might work. 😀 ...

                I also tried flashing my phone light to my head set, it just added like a white wall behind her.

                Edit: damn! So I tried it, I turn my light off and just left my computer monitor on, turn down the brightness and turn the saturation down sum in the picture options. Yup! Looks like we in my room in the dark!

                Damn this going to get, CRAZY!

                Might be good idea get you a bluetooth light and hook it up to your phone for easy access to your light, that's what I got. Plus u can dim the light or change the colors 👍

                anyone else think this might b the future of vr porn? yes it needs alot of work but this is just beginning and man is the potential there and once slr starts shooting for passthrough im sure theyll be able to greatly improve the experience. Biggest issues i notice that need to get ironed out:

                1. making it easier to get rid of background completely with little tinkering, should be fixed with greenscreen

                2. Get rid of male actors body parts that get in the way such as his chest, arms, and legs also be able to fixed with greenscreen suit on him or doll

                3. scale, i notice in these videos im usually like a giant in comparison with the girl

                4. not sure if this is something that can be fixed but in vids i tested girls eyes and inside of mouth are all messed up.

                  If these issues get solved man i think this might be the future, and i notice this extra level of immersion with super crappy quest 2 passthrough camera. I cant even imagine what will be like in hd color passthrough like the quest pro, excited for it and future passthrough vids 😃 kudos to slr team for once again pushing the boundaries of vrporn
