BeltManFen I think that’s a little unfair.
We are not the ones who risked our money to start this site from scratch in a very niche area of porn (even more so a few years back) so it’s very easy for us to tell them to take risks and push boundaries as it’s not our livelihood and years of work at risk.
I get the impression that SLR are perhaps being overly safe and taking out stuff that could possibly be problematic rather than just stuff that is definitely prohibited. Obviously they cannot afford for the credit card companies to do a pornhub on them and refuse to handle payments. I’d expect that pornhub received numerous warnings to get their house in order before that happened but I don’t know this for sure. Pornhub is also the most famous and biggest porn site in the world and was controversial due to offering free pirated content that kids can watch online with no checks carried out. Going after pornhub was good publicity for them. SLR is minuscule by comparison.
There’s so many porn sites on the internet that I can’t accept that someone at Mastercard is watching every second of every scene on every site to see what sex acts are included. It’s not possible and so many sites go much further than SLR in every scene without losing their ability to accept credit card payments. Are Mastercard not aware of Facial Abuse with their super controversial content? The most infamous pornographer of all time (Max Hardcore) still operates a site with credit card billing that includes piss and vomit content. Surely he’d be under more scrutiny than most.
I don’t see why scenes that have been up for months like those two piss scenes needed to be removed/censored this far down the line when they’d gone happily under the radar. Maybe just remove piss as a category so they wouldn’t obviously stick out amongst 10,000 other scenes. I doubt anyone’s going to prison on a tiny technicality that allows a girl to be pissed on and in her mouth but isn’t allowed to swallow any of it.
Like I said though, it’s not my site, it’s not my risk to take. Maybe these companies don’t give any warning and your site is instantly cut off from being able to take payments if one scene fails to comply with every tiny thing.
What’s more frustrating is that, in VR, so many studios act in partnership with SLR and therefore their own scenes have to comply with SLR’s stringent risk averse policy. Xsinsvr then won’t make anymore piss scenes like this because they know SLR won’t allow it.
