The biggest thing that we don't know exactly what to comply with. We are talking to multiple organizations and people to to find out what everyone is going to be cool with. We just say there's no way to do it prefectly, but let's be clear where are we coming from and west we are doing.
SLR and Compliance

What about consent under duress?
Great point and something which we have considered. The golden rule we work to is that "Consent must be freely given and continuous. Any performer or character can withdraw consent for any time, and for any reason."
Where we have the classic "caught doing something wrong and want to cover it up trope" we will look at which character is instigating the activity. If someone offers to have sex with someone else to keep a secret, that is probably going to be ok. If someone coerces someone into sex with threats of blackmail that is not truly consensual.
I do however like hypno personality because I know it's a fake kink
We know it's fake too, but unfortunately it's not something we can permit.
It's a good phrase. Live and let live.))
..." illegal in some jurisdictions:"
All porn is illegal in some jurisdictions. It is impossible to comply with all the laws of all the repressive regimes around the world and still operate an adult site. In fact, even this forum would be illegal in certain jurisdictions. If you can point me to the laws of a functional democracy which makes a specific scene illegal I will consider how to bring that scene into compliance.
If it helps I can promise that we won't be allowing any content based on Genesis 19:6-8 (non-consent,) Judges 19:22-25, (also non-consent,) or Numbers 5, (magical rituals involving poison to prove adultery...)
I still have hope that this site will feature every(!) pornographic kink that isn't prohibited by laws of the state in which SLR operates or by other stuff like financial regulations they can't avoid. They certainly shouldn't self censor themselves only to please to a self-proclaimed majority of people who want to dictate which porn is allowed and which is not.
That's the ultimate goal. There is always going to be content which is not to your own personal taste. The goal is to allow people to express themselves and explore as freely as possible.
Polar Numbers 5, (magical rituals involving poison to prove adultery...)
thank god for that!!
It's a pity that the compliance would damage the freedom of performance ,this could trash many JAVs.
I don't understand why those materials cannot be used since they are also used in the hollywood movies.
(of course hollywood is much more powerful)
But if SLR cannot go on without it , then so be it, I can live with that.

I guess it comes down to how it is actually portrayed. It's a thin line but you can see pretty well if an actress is really frightened or whether she is only role-playing or even in on the game. There is a big difference between a girl crying and being actually violently forced into sexual action and stuff (which has no place around here) and a girl that only plays the reluctant girl that happily blows some cocks after a few minutes. Stuff like Pure Taboo on Adulttime or DarkRoomVR is clearly in a grey area but I think it's still pretty visible that it's just a role-playing game and that nobody is actually forced into sex. I hope that you at least give people some room to shoot taboo and "darker" stuff.

I get it. Keeping with Leeroy's theme from earlier, we would not be allowed to host something like Mel Gibson's "The Passion."

I completely agree that there is a thin line and SO many shades of grey. One of the rules we have to adhere to is that
...marketing and search terms (must) not give the impression that (the) content contains... depiction of nonconsensual activities;
I think there is a balance to be struck. We are currently having internal conversations about how to best facilitate power play and consensual "non-consent" scenes and scenarios whilst complying with financial industry rules. Some of the most popular BDSM niches and even something as benign as tickling fetish videos may conceivably feature a performer saying "no" as part of the play. One option may be that we start asking producers to include footage where the actual safe-words and stop-words in place for a scene are disclosed. Maybe the community has other ideas. I would love to hear them!
What I can promise you is that our overriding goal is to find ways to facilitate legal and consensual material and I have no truck with people saying something should be banned, just because it is not to their taste.
Polar Why has trans content been intentionally hidden from the main page for a long time now? You have to search for it, so on first impression people might not even know about it.
There is also extremely little trans content in comparison to the straight content. I saw SLR made one really high quality video a while back but there's been nothing since.

I guess a regular SLR user doesn't expect to see trans content right away. If you are into trans you should be able to get there.
Actually @AntonVR can come up with a feed that features trans content for those who opt-in. Also let's add a toggle on https://www.sexlikereal.com/shemale to make it visible in the main page feed and the same option in user profile

Just one more question.
Will this compliance also be applied to SLR.JP?
Or it's SLR.com only?
Leeroy Freedom of speech homie.

Polar If you see something that you think meets these criteria, we want to know about it.
What about stuff like this one ? https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/she-looked-away-for-just-a-second-in-the-park-20100
I mean, I know this is with IPPA regulation so it's not an issue, But did this "theme" isn't a bit off with what you said ? Same with some of TMAVR studio.
I don't want to play censor, after all has long the actress have age check and fully consent to the script they can do whatever they want. But this kind of video is I think, exactly what guys like Exodus Cry are looking for in there crusade against porn.
LordCrash Lately you changed the title of the new RealJamVR scene from "Your best friend's dau.gth.er" to "Your best friend's stepdaugther".
And Hazel Moore wants you and your heroic seeds to stepfather her children

LordCrash Sorry you feel this way. Probably best you do take a break after all.
Hi @justsomedude101, I’m not trying to stir things up or get suspended. But I did happen to read @LordCrash’s post before it was removed.
While I certainly wouldn’t have used the wording he used. I have noticed some of the things he mentioned.
I understand compliance is a very serious issue. And I’m glad you guys are doing what it takes to meet compliance. But it seems you guys are going a lot farther than any other site I subscribe to.
Are you guys being overly cautious? Or are the other sites not going far enough? I don’t know.
You might want to have the compliance team take a look at other sites and see if you guys still feel you going about it the right way. Or if you need to reevaluate. Because I have certainly noticed a discrepancy between how SLR and other sites are handling this issue.
Anyways, just my $.02 FWIW
