It's really disgusting to read this. The models that work here DO NOT HAVE TO PROVE ANYTHING TO ANYONE. How can you insinuate that either they take a public stand or that they support the war? What kind of logic is that. How can you blame Russian citizens for the actions of their rulers and a tyrant like Putin? Are we crazy?

There is a basic problem here that in my opinion will not be solved by banning models of Russian origin from the site. I have already complained here several times about the humiliating treatment they usually receive now as they are now crucified for something they have no say in. And now they want to give them a discriminatory treatment just for being Russian. This is going to destroy them completely.

It is good to take a stand in favor of Ukraine. Fuck, fuck Putin! I'm the first one to say it! I understand that, as a company, you stop doing business in Russia. But to blame the citizens, with almost xonophobic treatment, I don't understand.
And anyone who thinks that going out on the streets in russia to protest is easy is either very naive or has no idea how that country works. People are FEARFUL to go out, FEARFUL. And it is not about defending russia, it is about humane treatment and dealing with the issue with honesty and sensitivity.
ALL THIS DOES IS SPREAD HATE. I understand saying that Russians should take the streets. But what we have to do is to encourage those who dare to do so, not to be xenophobic towards everyone no matter what.

Personally I think banning Russian models is going to do absolutely no good. Support Ukraine and the Russians who are against the war however you want and fuck Putin, that's what you should do.

I wonder where all the bleeding hearts were when geopolitical realities demanded expansion and militairy interventions of the so called "defensive alliance" NATO, and the west in general? (by the way, i'm from Western Europe, but maybe after reading the following, i'll be called a Russian bot by most).

What you are doing specifically on this site solves nothing, and as already stated by a few people above, you're only punishing people that are showing their bodies on the internet to make enough of a living to not live in poverty in rural Russia. These people want to enjoy the same quality of life and luxuries that we all know in the west (most of which are possible by the above wars which among other things fed into expanding the global economy), but you want to deny them that.

Think about the sheer hypocrisy and nonsensical state of it all.

BTW: If we ban Russian models for being Russian, we also should ban US models as long as their government is keeping torturing people in Guantanamo (didn´t Obama already want to close this disgraceful piece of human history?). But wait this would mean we lose a lot of revenue, shit we can not do that. But we can ban the Russians that make 0,001% of our revenue, I mean this removes the source of income of them, but fuck it it is just a hand full of Russians anyway. I am all against war, and for support for the people suffering from it, but banning Russian models does not support anyone. It does not prevent a single death, nor helping people in the Ukraine that just lost their home. It is just as meaningless as telling your kid to eat up because there are starving children in Africa.

                    Banning russian models it's a bad idea in my opinion. They're trying to do his job, nothing more. This just shows, once again, the discriminatory treatment the models suffer.

                                            Honestly the best way to avoid WW3 would be giving Putin what he wants, but this of course would mean sacrificing Ukraine to Russia. This is also the reason why NATO does not intervene for now, because if they do WW3 is inevitable, and this is also the reason Putin is doing what he does. He knows his country has no chance against the NATO, but he also knows nobody wants to risk WW3.
