petermc Not having issues focusing on the menu myself, but I also liked having the quality dropdown on the first menu.

petermc .... see there is the rub (no pun intended haha). I don't use the picture quality settings, but I regularly use the sync settings, so for me it needs to be on the top layer of menus. Which brings us back to essentially restoring the previous 1st level options menu on the side pane. It was easier to use and much less hassle.

doublevr

"Program your controller"? There's an option for that?

(Goes to look more carefully at options I've never paid attention to).

Holy crap, I've been going through the menus to adjust pitch, when I can actually adjust pitch without pulling up any menus at all? Wow, that's going to make using this app SO MUCH BETTER!!!!

New UI seems fine to me. I didn't like going a menu level deeper to adjust pitch, but now, thanks to reading this discussion, I realize I don't have to open any menus to do that. So no complaints. The info about the video, and clicking to see other videos with the same actresses, seems easier to find here than it was previously.

My one suggestion for future updates is making it possible to read the full titles of videos when looking at the gallery of videos pages. (I'm not sure if that's what that page is called. The "main" page - the page which shows thumbnails of videos we can watch.) The full titles often contain info about the plot or premise which help me know if it's a video I'm interested in watching or not, and it would be nice to see that without having to click through to the video.

might be good for a separate thread on controller programming

The only problem with the controller programming is the settings only work in streaming mode. When you use Deo/SLR for offline / local playback, none of the mappings carry over... At least, not on the PC version.

i guess i see why the new system is not used on the cam side of things...there were a few great pic opportunities and feature was not there.

they ought to think about it...would keep people surfing cam side of things more...which means probably tipping...hard to be in the room and not tip anything

@[deleted] Current implementation of seek bar with blocks is not cool at all. Rather confusing for most videos
Would be cool to make it optional

Also controller programming has to be highlighted. Really cool feature some very few seem to use

Maybe i missed it but where did the tilt foncton go? And it should be on the front page so I can do it while watching not have to dig through menu's.

Have to agree this new UI is very annoying and I would rather they reverted to the old one..

it's possible the little motion button used with the pointer finger can adjust tilt...it is moving it up and down...i think there is picture adjustment as it does that to move further away also?

    try it

g2kbuffetboy -- another issue I had was that every time the program was updated, the mapping I did went away and I had to map again. Pain in the butt. I stopped doing it.

    Maybe that's fixed now?

my mistake...it's the THUMB that might be changing the tilt view. not sure it's exactly like the other method, but it's quick

the camera feature is very cool...might be best to stop the action and take the pic or you never know exactly when the shot is taken. the results can be zoomed and everything....was practicing on paula shy's new clip

I'm a huge proponent to get UI back to what it was. I believe there's a potential to improve things in current framework. Might take one or rather two iterations to greatly improve things. Will have a big team discussion on Tue.

doublevr .. great to hear you are taking action to fix the player. Please consider simply rolling back in the meantime. I have simply stopped using SLR for now. The new player is just too frustrating.

Old UI's was much better and nobody complained. The new UI many people are not happy. The only change needed is improved video quality which everyone will appreciate.

Heathenlamb We are thinking to add sync option right into the main player UI once there’s an active connection with a sex toy

Hey guys. Just a quick update.

      1. New UI should not have affected any performance. If you experience performance issues please check with support.

      2. The best option to use Zoom, Playback speed and Tilt is controller. Go to controller settings as setup your preferred mapping. There should be more awareness of that

      3. Handy Sync slider is coming to the main player UI along with the script heat map next to the seek and extra features

      4. There should be an icon notifying if any settings change was applied to the video.

      5. Every setting should have a hint of an active controller mapping. There should definitely be more awareness of controller mapping as it's much better way to manage things rather than UI slider.

      6. Providing an option to minimize the player UI to seekbar and play/pause buttons

Thx @[deleted] and @Sandi_SLR for cooperation.

didn't read the entire thread, simply here to say i agree with the OP. I much preferred the old UI, new one feels like a downgrade in many ways

knowing key controller functions is better

does the tilt on the controller ACT exactly like the tilt on the menu? almost seems up and down.

does the tilt in the menu also move the camera back a bit also?

      or is it the same?

i have been using it and like it

i have also been using the pic capture function...gives me something to do while i wade thru the xxxx

best way to take a pic is to pause the action and grab a clear frame...otherwise, you have no idea when it will take the pic and most likely be all blurry.

using the joystick for tilt...also for skipping forward or backward. very handy

Knowing that I can customize the controls, so I can tilt without having to dive into the menus at all, has HUGELY improved my experience. I really wish I'd known about this from the beginning.

My suggestion is that you make this feature more obvious, even for dummies like me who don't thoroughly explore all the menu options. For example, on the page with all the sliders to adjust, maybe a line at the bottom saying "Did you know you can customize your controller?" with a link.
