sickpuppies What did you think was going to happen when you remove paying members favourite videos with no notice? I can only speak from my own personal perspective however I am now thinking that purchasing a lifetime membership may have been a bit hasty.

      One thing I would say is although this situation sucks for subscribers and creators.. I just hope people realize that it's not SLR's fault the banks fuck around with SW's and adult studios the way they do.. More communication on scenes being pulled/altered yes would make things easier for us subs.. I hope that gets addressed in the future.. But I do 100% understand this wasn't something expected too and or planned for.. Sounds like progress is being made to appease these shit people at the banks.. There's light at the end of the tunnel..

      I would maybe advise for you as a company to maybe explain the situation the banks have put you in on socials etc... Shed some light so maybe these banks think twice before messing with your team again.. Similar to the way OF creators did when the banks started fucking with their livelihoods.. This way more people can be made aware of how fucked in the head these banks and CC processers are.. Just my view..

          This is exactly why you download the videos and not stream them.

          Just hide videos based on viewers country origin. (we can vpn them) and have a 'censored' tag. Someone from the USA tries to view, they get a message telling them it's unavailable in their country due to their laws. This way you are compliant, and letting us know to use a vpn.

          Luckily you don't speak Japanese, otherwise there wouldn't be a jav section ^^

            doublevr My concern wasn’t that you would go more vanilla, your SLR Originals (with the odd exception) are vanilla enough as it is. My hope is that you will go less vanilla, that now you have established what the limits are, you can push scenes to those limits. Not every scene but a more regular mix of hard and vanilla action.

            I completely agree though that any harder, rougher scene should always clearly show consent. I actually find it much hotter if the girl is asking to be choked, slapped etc. I’m not really into scenes where it’s made out that stuff is happening against her will.

                leanra Is that a SLR decision to mute “Daddy” in the most recent Taboo VR scene or is that already muted when they acquired it? I’ve not seen compliance taken that far anywhere else to remove “daddy” from a stepfamily roleplay scene.

                        petermc Yes, that's a bizarre decision., whoever made it (I actually watched this scene while skipping through and hadn't initially noticed). The stepfamily roleplay is the 'questionable' part of the scene if anything is, surely, and it's right there in the title. Meanwhile the word 'daddy' can be, and is, used in all sorts of contexts and isn't remotely problematic in and of itself.

                          Incidentally, and I realise this may be wishful thinking but should the banks/CC companies ever backtrack and decide alcohol for example is OK now, are original scenes backed up somewhere so they could be restored to th original (and is that restoration something you'd be likely to do in that instance)?

                              No laws are at play here. This is entirely driven by the self-imposed regulations of private financial institutions. We cannot offer the content to someone in Norway any easier than the US and Canada.

                                  ApolloSLR How about an "unlock uncensored content" option to the regular sub that only accepts crypto or similar stuff as payment?

                                      LordCrash there's no way to make any exceptions. The site has to comply as a whole. Crypto is not helping much. Yet crypto is the subject of regulation by service provider.

                                      You might get a way with paying peer to peer, but there's compliance in place required by payment providers.

                                            Val Steele SLR Original one isn’t back yet, still the censored version. They did say they would begin bringing them back today though so hopefully it’s still to come.
