I understand everyone's frustration. For what it's worth, @doublevr is extremely passionate about the company and the product, and he's just as frustrated with this situation as the rest of us are. Possibly even moreso and with good reason.
Some JAV products may never come back, @nagewu. Some will be back in the coming weeks. Having lived in Japan, I think it's safe to say that the Japanese do not have some of the hang-ups in exploring sexual fantasies that many in the west do (there are pros and cons to this, but that's a discussion for elsewhere). But ultimately, we are beholden to the financial institutions and regulations where we operate - and with JAV in particular, that means pulling down anything with a non-consensual theme.
It is entirely possible that in time many of these regulations will be reversed, and we're both hopeful and prepared for that. We continue to explore all possibilities to bring you ALL the content that you want to watch, and we want to provide. But for now, all we can do is ask for your patience as we try to bring some control to a really chaotic situation.

it's possible banks are even squeezing godaddy (domains) now...got an email the other day about new payment options...surely they will be getting more fees on this, but getting rid of credit card pmt for names. that was my 5min scan of the email...hope I;m wrong...that will be a big pain in the ass.
found three more of my GO-TO clips that were deleted....feeling a little better, but now need to manage harddrive crap and transfer to headset(with limited space)....maybe 10 more to go

Sorry for delay, confusion and inconvenience. We have a very good plan in place and there will be more announcements coming soon. We plan to have clear guidelines in place for creators and public.

Now that you’ve worked out set boundaries about what is and isn’t compliant, am I being too optimistic to hope that you will start making some stuff that is on the limits rather than doing 95% super vanilla content? Would be nice to see a good mixture of stuff from SLR.
Also, would it be useful to let people know what you can and can’t do? Not sure if that’s doable or too complicated, just thinking it may stop people asking for stuff that isn’t compliant.

Based on in-depth analysis that we did I don't expect SLR to become vanilla. Not at all.
Yet we don't want any content promoting non-consensual, non-conscious or other highly questionable behavior. It can be rough and raw to a decent extent. Yet it should not lead people to believe they can go away with doing crazy shit in real life like they see it in some porn.

sickpuppies What did you think was going to happen when you remove paying members favourite videos with no notice? I can only speak from my own personal perspective however I am now thinking that purchasing a lifetime membership may have been a bit hasty.

One thing I would say is although this situation sucks for subscribers and creators.. I just hope people realize that it's not SLR's fault the banks fuck around with SW's and adult studios the way they do.. More communication on scenes being pulled/altered yes would make things easier for us subs.. I hope that gets addressed in the future.. But I do 100% understand this wasn't something expected too and or planned for.. Sounds like progress is being made to appease these shit people at the banks.. There's light at the end of the tunnel..
I would maybe advise for you as a company to maybe explain the situation the banks have put you in on socials etc... Shed some light so maybe these banks think twice before messing with your team again.. Similar to the way OF creators did when the banks started fucking with their livelihoods.. This way more people can be made aware of how fucked in the head these banks and CC processers are.. Just my view..

This is exactly why you download the videos and not stream them.
Just hide videos based on viewers country origin. (we can vpn them) and have a 'censored' tag. Someone from the USA tries to view, they get a message telling them it's unavailable in their country due to their laws. This way you are compliant, and letting us know to use a vpn.
Luckily you don't speak Japanese, otherwise there wouldn't be a jav section ^^
doublevr My concern wasn’t that you would go more vanilla, your SLR Originals (with the odd exception) are vanilla enough as it is. My hope is that you will go less vanilla, that now you have established what the limits are, you can push scenes to those limits. Not every scene but a more regular mix of hard and vanilla action.
I completely agree though that any harder, rougher scene should always clearly show consent. I actually find it much hotter if the girl is asking to be choked, slapped etc. I’m not really into scenes where it’s made out that stuff is happening against her will.
