It is not an account problem, it's a design/UI/nerf problem.
First of all it's not a six day cycle, it's a seven day cycle. If you download something on day one of the cycle, then the system will add six days from the end of that day (which is the beginning of day 2) and you can download again on day 8, which is day two in the next six day cycle. First cycle, if you use a slot on day 1, next cycle you can use the slot again on day 2, next cycle on day 3 and so on. On a seven day cycle it lines up.
In the old system, downloads didn't spill over to the next week. If we downloaded a bunch of videos on Thursday we could download again on, say, Monday (if after the reset) but with this system we have to wait until Thursday...or later. Is that the point; to delay downloads? Fewer downloads? The new system will push downloads into the future unless we download exactly the same number of videos on every day of the week. It is a serious nerf.
Is this on purpose? Do you understand the problem? Or are you vibe coding and completely detached from it? Do you need to save money?
If you intend to use the current system, without driving us nuts, the download dialog needs to show a list of all the upcoming slot releases, like:
New download slots will be available:
Tomorrow: 1 slot.
Day after tomorrow: 5 slots.
In three days: 6 slots.
etc.
But it's still a downgrade. Tell your AI.
