Ok, initial impression. I explored some but was not able to use the app for its intended purposes due to a few things.
A: I have controllers, but the headset or app kept trying to pick up my hands. So EVERYTHING opened the UI menu, hitting my vape, moving my hands when the controller was set down, etc.
B: I noticed that it doesn't have "remote control" like the quest 3 app does, so I couldn't hook up my SR6 via MFP.
Still, trying to run my sr6 off a generic, non-matching script to enjoy the visuals? Not really possible when the UI keeps opening up everytime I move my hand. However, my god the visuals! Remember when you took of.your quest 2 and put on.your quest 3, and said "WOW!!". Well this is like that x2
The scale numbers and +/- buttons for say pitch, zoom, contrast, etc, would be super sweet it it showed a value, ie 100%, 90% etc.
I also noticed that some videos were very glitchy, angie lynx: angielic dreamscape was one such video, got very glitchy whenever the UI was open, another video under "av1 true 8k" search also did it, just all the time. Seemed like the older h-coded videos ran fine.
I also noticed thay every video seemed to default to AI pass through upon opening the video? Kinda a hassle, I hardly use pass through, though that may change as I use the GXR.
Native player worked good, but I do wish I didn't have to "exit vr" to access it, and it seemed cumbersome, like backing out of a native video didn't just take me back to the file list.
I'll mess with it more, but I had to default back to my quest 3 to get the job done.
