fearlessflash First time I ran DeoVR on my Galaxy XR, intuitively I tried to hide the menu by making the hand symbol that my app uses for it, LOL. But yeah I think that the way that my app works is the right approach here. Personally I've not even had one time where I 'accidentally' hide the menu, or activated it when I didnt want to. With the DeoVR approach it happens.
And yeah like @WebXRChief says I also felt that the XR's hand tracking is quite jittery on the OS level which indeed complicates things a bit. There are not too many params you can tweak but there are some and I did manage to improve things a bit, mostly trial and error and asking AI for idea's, which was also quite helpful. AI is such a great help, it continues to amaze me. Last week I wrote a windows app that I wanted to use in my company for accounting. It was actuallly quite a simple app, I just wanted to match bank payments to scanned invoices and then add a category for each payment, to simplify the work I do each year to supply the data for my yearly financial statements. It's something you could make in excel, but I wanted to add some whistles and bells like scanning an invoice directory, putting the entries in a list box to select from, scanning multiple bank statements (csvs) with overlapping data, auto matching invoices etc. I wanted to see if I could use Claude to only prompt and not write a single line of code myself, so I let Claude write the C++ code that I compiled with visual studio and daaaamn it just worked so frikking good!! Sure, I had to 'tune' things several times, probably had to 'prompt' about 20 times, but I'm just amazed at how well it works and that I didnt need to write even a single line of code!! I can surely see companies ditching developers nowadays. Sure, you still need at least one at this point, a developer will know better how to prompt, what to ask for, how to verify results etc. But you dont need a whole team anymore. Claude already is crazy good. Very interesting times we live in! Elon described it like a rollercoaster and we're now at that moment where we're at the top, about to move down, haha, that's indeed pretty much how it feels. Things are going to get crazy! Hopefully in a good way, LOL
