App for Samsung XR headset?

got Jellyfin all setup just cant find the button to put in my credentials please help

Cydewayz It's under the 'settings' button, there you need to enter the IP etc. Make sure, there are no firewall problems by the way, if in doubt, just disable the windows firewall to test. Should be super easy to set up, let me know if you have any specific questions.

Cydewayz what happens on your headset when you click the settings button in my app? It should show a screen where you can enter those settings. If you don't see it, maybe it's behind you? Let me know please and if it's not centered correctly in front of you i'll need to fix that.

harigeharry It just shows kiosk mode then reset file type and i think another option but i don't see any options for ip address or anywhere to put in the details of the jellyfin server. i know i read somewhere you called it a hidden setting on my end its truly hidden and i cant find it all.

harigeharry a lot of remasters are bad yes, but GOD DAMN Badoinks ones are incredible. They truely go many years forward in time, and have some top tier banger scenes ‘reincarnated’

harigeharry the 12k didn’t work on any hardware. The 10K did, but the difference wasn’t even noticeable.

Some other guy hit the nail on the head, it’s not all about resolutions. Wankz 7k looks infinitely better than a load of 8k studios. VRBangers 6k today looks better than their 8k years ago.

adinihsan It's 100% true that it's not all about resolution, some SLR originals from years ago, I think 5-6k, look better than some 8k's from today. That being said, that 16k video on the AVP simply is by far the most amazing thing I've ever seen in VR. I wish the XR's hardware was fast enough to play it, but it simply isn't. Well, I must say I'm not 100% sure, but 99.9% sure 🙂 The thing is that those guys who created that app on the AVP are like magicians, LOL, so there's a slight chance they can repeat their magic on the XR, but honestly I don't expect it's possible unfortunately.

harigeharry hey Harry, that begs a question, does the AV1 or whatever play better than the h265 on the XR? I haven't played around with the AV1 bc it usually looks like a Snapchat filter is applied

Cydewayz I'm starting to think we're talking about different things. In the menu in my player you see buttons like "Open Jellyfin" "Open Local" "Play/pause", "Help" and then there's "Settings". If you click on Settings, a canvas should appear with things like "ServerIP:" and "Port".

EDIT I'm confused by your post, those things like "kiosk mode", that's not in my player. You are talking about my player, right? I'm starting to think you're talking about a different player?

SchnuppiLilac man I'd love to resub to VRbangers but I canceled it when they took away downloads. You know if downloads are available on VRB again?

Reeses Downloads were not really gone, just the download buttons. But I cancelled anyway, so not sure if that door is still open. Downloads of VRB scenes are still available on another site of their network (the one that must not be named here) if you can live with delayed release dates.

Reeses You can download VRBangers on their sister site, VRPorn. They are a few weeks behind, but they look great.

You can also download from within their own app (Steam or Quest). They never truely removed downloads you don't need another site.

On pc the files will go to:
User\AppData\LocalLow\PlayaContent\CDM

blaze466 With some slight hacking you can also download it yourself directly from vrbangers.com
1) Open Chrome on a desktop PC. Press F12 to open the Dev tools
2) Open Vrbangers.com, log in
3) In the Dev tools, go to the network tab and enter 'mp4' as filter
4) press play in the video player
5) you'll see several links in devtools, one really starts to augment in size, that's the one you need. Right click it 'open in new tab' and chrome will ask you where you want to save it.

Boom, sit back and enjoy 🙂

@Cydewayz LOL I now understand the confusion, you're talking about jellyfin, I'm talking about my app 🙂 Once you've set up jellyfin on your PC, you should return to the headset and open my app, and in my player, there you select the 'settings' button 🙂 There you can enter the information from jellyfin and then it should work. Let me know if you needs some help there mate.

harigeharry i have it properly setup as far the stream and connecting to the headset just cant connect with your awesome app the additional settings dont give me the option to enter my credentials.

@Cydewayz Ok so step by step:
1) Download and install jellyfin on your PC. If the installation succeeded, you'll see a triangle symbol in your windows tray (right part of the task bar). There you can click "open Jellyfin" and it should open a browser and you should be able to see all your movies that you've chosen to share. If that works, then jellyfin installation has succeeded. I dont remember if jellyfin asks to open the port on your firewall, but if not, to test things first just disable the whole firewall itself (dont forget to put it back lateron and then you should open the port, let me know if you need help with that).
2) Then put on your headset, make sure you're connected to the same network as your PC. Then open my app in the headset, click settings and put in the info.

Then you click on 'open jellyfin' and if it works, it should list all files you've chosen to share with jellyfin

Cydewayz but that's a screenshot of jellyfin. Not my app. You need to enter the jellyfin info into my app. Wait, let me make a screenshot myself then
