SchnuppiLilac oh man. Does that link work for you? On my phone just now It takes me to the locked down, view nothing, click here to log in page. And just like last night on my phone, laptop, and q3, my credentials+log in pops an error message with "something went wrong, please try again later." 😂

Mandr like I said earlier, there isn't much of a way to tell just yet due to lack of a decent video player. Just navigating the native menus with pass through on so I can see my living room, I don't notice anything that feels like tunnel vision. I can see my doggo in what would be my peripheral, in the headset, without having to turn my head and scan the room.

On that note, pass through is decent. I can read/use my phone with the headset on.

Reeses Nah I just use the normal website, so sexlikereal.com in Safari on my AVP.

Of course the XR headset only just launched so on the one hand it's indeed possible that there's no good player yet. But since it runs android and you can even sideload APK's, I'm sure it won't take long before a developer just adds SBS to his Android player.

Mandr It depends on how close you can get to the displays. So that's why we need after market mods, which surely will come. But reports seem to vary between quest 3 like and Index like FoV. So between 'average' and 'pretty good'. And binocular overlap has been tauted as good by pretty much all reviewers, at least the ones I've read.

Reeses On my AVP when I click login on my AVP, it shows a number that I need to enter in my pc at https://www.sexlikereal.com/code. When I do that it then just is logged into my AVP

It's very possible that it wont work though right now. It took a while before they got it going for the AVP. I wouldnt be surprised if they needed to change some things to make it work with the XR.

But there's no timeline yet so who knows how long it will take ... But I'm sure they'll first focus on getting the web player to work.

So I did try sexlikereal.com in the Samsung browser and chrome on the headset, it just plays 2d, like it would on my cell phone. Go full screen and it has an option for "launch in VR" click that and it just says "launch in safari or meta browser".

So at this juncture, for VR porn, the Samsung xr is just a paperweight. But like you say, deo says they're working on it.

Reeses So, I’m watching a YouTube video where the dude downloaded a few movie trailers. He then opens the MyGallery app and selects his video. From there, he selects immersive mode in the top right which takes him to a screen that has a button labeled “2D” towards the bottom left. He clicks on it and VR180 is an option. Granted, he is not playing a VR180 video, just a standard 3D. But, that should work, right? The link is below. It’s around the 12:30 mark.

You can also still find an apk for DeoVR 10.1 for Android if you google it.

I'm definitely going to buy it. I'm always impressed when I use SLR+handy with my Quest 3, and after a quick search on GPT, I discovered that combining everything — resolution, passthrough, and OLED — the image quality of the Samsung XR is almost 300%+ better than the Q3, which is incredible and crazy to imagine, because for me the Quest 3 is already so good and so immersive. I can't wait to watch porn on the Samsung XR.

blaze466 yeaaah. It does open up and play. But think deovr, zoomed way out to 60%, and pitch angle is set straight forward and none adjustable, and "height " is set +25%. So it is 3d 180 sbs. Just not at all immersive. If i were to set my q3 to similar settings to do a side by side, I would say the xr is way more clear though
