You must be referring to the deovr team -- and yes they are ignoring you on purpose even doing so on their own forum anything thumbstick. Best to familiarize with pc steamvr environment which will future proof compatibility and less silly stunts pulled like this one
There's a cool hybrid work around (shortcut trick at the end):
On quest 3, pc link into the desktop Meta Quest Link as usual, obviously won't be using deovr on that platform uninstall it.
Instead, while on the computer download steam, login -> while on steam download steamvr -> then download DeoVR-Video Streaming /and right click it in steam library to ''browse local files'' a folder will open and create desktop shortcut of the deovr. Strangely must specifically be that deovr.exe to work
Next, completely shutdown steam | put on headset that's still connected to pc quest link and run the desktop deovr shortcut; even better bind it to unused keyboard key. Sure still little hassle, but your routine is same and more importantly steam never opens
