Likely, they turned off quest 3 thumbstick in pc meta link version of deovr, but updated it to work in pc-steamvr version because too much hassle maintaining both spaces. It's a small hope people will calmly accept migrating over to steamvr. If there is not enough backlash, then it might be a permanent.
Which honestly, I Do Not see many people posting complaints about. I guess 0.00001 percent of deo users even care this is happening? Anyways, go check here, there, or reddit forums, you'll see only like 1 or 2 created posts regarding thumbstick complaints.
Quest 2 users have it even worse, because deo is encouraging upgrading their devices hinting at a future blah blah. Deo devlopers are toying with everybody. Seems fair because we're letting them
