SLR Backstage Pass
Hairsational That's disappointing. So much wasted potential.
rerun119 I guess they're content but not reinvesting in yourself just seems like poor business. And putting the video quality aside, simple direction would improve their videos so much for no/little extra cost. They kinda come off as uncaring and oblivious.
Adrianvr these girls names?
Adrianvr release date?

Jasonlee97 @Manny_S let’s prioritize the release for “SLRO Latina” and please announce dates of release when you have it.
IG behind the scenes vid showed the camera. Is this the cam everyone has the concerns about?
Looks like this (or a variant): https://www.usa.canon.com/shop/p/eos-r5-c

Incredibly excited about this expansion.
Is it truly the VRLatina staff making these or a different group?
Adrianvr
Can we get a "Latin America Casting Suggestions - 2025" thread?
Or are those SLRO Latina producers accepting suggestions?
Adrianvr Translation: We outsource production to the VRLatina team
rerun119 If this is the 8K camera that makes every studio shoot with too big of scaling and it only cost 3 grand, I'm going to freak out.
It is, but SLR has been able to make it look ok in their more recent SLRO scenes. In the hands of a different production crew on another continent it might be like going back to be square one again but let's see.
rerun119 I think that $3k is just for the body...they still have to buy the lens. There's a "VR Content Creator Kit" with the VR lens for $4.5K https://www.usa.canon.com/shop/p/vr-content-creator-kit
fuccaneer So does the whole thing only cost around 8 thousand dollars? Isn't that like a couple shoot worth of money.
All I see is that a studio like VRHush, VRFuckPass, VRP ect. could have switched and made back the money with people like me watching. VRP got bigger numbers 5 years ago before they bought this camera.
rerun119 no, the VR kit includes the camera and lens for $4.5k. There are likely related costs like media, mic, tripod, etc. But most studios would already have that shit oh-hand.
Are you familiar with the "sunk-cost fallacy"? Seems like most would be hesitant to give up on their investment--regardless of output.
Frankly, the Western porn industry has always been more about quantity over quality. Why throw a ton of money to get that 1% "video quality connoisseur market" when they can just churn out the same shit and make that "1% value" back(+) on the margin? The vast majority of porn consumers operate on boner-brain and shitty production isn't going to stop them from racking up views as long as the teens are young and the tits are big.
