I am using the same setup. Handy with Mount. Unfortunately I have no good place to mount it on my bed, but I use a tray where I connect it to. And the tray gets stabilized with my feet. It is not perfect, but it works.
And yes, the immersion is really good.
For this reason, I choose my videos primarily according to the position of the male performer (lying down). And of course it's particularly important that the dick-position doesn't change too much during the scene.
I also always see a lot of people here asking for positions (doggy, missionary, etc). And while I also find missionary, for example, extremely hot, this position just doesn't fit into the ‘lying concept’.
It would be nice if videos were limited solely to positions where the male performer doesn't have to move. But maybe there just aren't enough customers using this immersive setup with a mount yet.

Just to counter balance the 'lying down' then while I don't do it often, because of the cleaning afterwards, then positioning one of my Tantaly Big Asses at the foot of my bed and then elevating it (elevation bed) to fit my height I can get the best immersion in with AR and VR. It's amazing to have that ass to grab onto in either missionary (standing) or doggy style if when aligned perfect with the model.

Laying down missionary however I never found a good position to do as it simply becomes rather exhausting after a few minutes as I don't have the comfort of eg my partner's legs around my arms like irl sex. So that position I only do in VR while laying on my bed.

That said I semi agree that it would be nice there was more focus in particularly AR porn. It feels like positions are rushed as they almost seem to need to have evrr position in one scene. Imo they could focus more. Eg sitting scenes with sitting BJ, cowgirl and then standing doggy and/or missionary on a table. And then scenes focus on laying down with BJ, cowgirl and kneeling doggy and/or laying missionary. It would make the positions feel less rushed.

I've said this a couple of times here: SLR should really focus on developing a feature that matches the video's overall lighting with the user's room lighting. I'm not talking about matching the shadows' directions, that would be too computationally expensive for a Quest 3 to do in real time (even for a pc). I just think it should match the overall color of my room depending on the time of day and the warmth and intensity of the lighting

Up until recently, this would've been impossible since devs didn't have access to the Quest camera API, but now they do

Another feature that would make the scenes feel more immersive is the option to have a filter that matches the Quest 3 cameras' "graininess". Right now, the videos look too good compared to the passthrough feed, so a filter like that would increase immersion

Agreed, as for now lowering contrast and brightness helps me.

If I just have my desktop monitor on I'll lower the con and bright very low and it looks like sex in a dark room.

One thing I like to do is use this flashlight I have, its a stick light, I guess for mechanics but it's bright as fuck so I'll place it on a dresser, face it towards me. This gves me a better image with the pt but the bright as light in the bg makes me feel like I'm on a porn set .

Use them set lights if you want better quality with the pt. It also looks kinda crazy too cuz the light looks like it's reflecting on the models but actually it's the actual studio light on set reflecting on the model, looks crazy.

SLRTroller Got any tips for taking immersion to the next level?

A torso with tits is the only thing I've added to my vr fap session and rarely do i ever not use it for a vr fap session, and normally I'd watch laying cg rcg the most but after buying a torso I've been watching mission and doggy a lot more now, and spooning!

Well on the side of me, I have a dresser to the left of me next to my bed, I'll place it there, it helps brighten up my lap area looking threw the pt. And if I had it in front of me during cg then her body over laps the light, lol I usually have my TV on, it's placed in front of my bed so its always behind her, its crazy bro

I'm thinking about getting one of them ring lights or them led lights on a tripod or something I just need one, lol literally it will look like u on porn set!

Thanks for the tip. Yes, this looks promising. Although I do wonder whether this type of table is stable enough to correctly absorb the ‘vibrations’ of the Handy. I guess I need something a bit more stable than that. Let's see what's available on the market.

I'll face the flashlight or a my lamp towards me where I get a good shadow reflection of me and the dolls tits on the wall, here's where the immerse comes in, while in missionary position as I'm going along with the pt missionary, bro you turn to look at the wall and there you are smashing away, adds a Lil more realism, work for all positions really, but I usually set up the light good for missionary.

And I also use that open face guard meta came out with for q3, for pt purposes it works great, opens up your fov.
