Glokta I believe part of this was the background with all the sparkles and glitter. Higher bitrates were still struggling with all that background noise.
That said I've seen recent swallowbay scenes,and they've improved slightly in quality. AI upscaling maybe?
And since xeddin is focusing strictly on passthrough, he might just leapfrog these issues. Let the man have a crack at it atleast.
I would have preferred regular scenes, but it's a start with passthrough.
His first SLRO pornoverse scene pleasantly surprised me albeit with some technical issues.

Why can’t SLR ever hang on to directors apart from Alex Nash and his mate John Strong? I know, in this case, it was your decision and I hope it works out for you but it’s just disappointing to see another director disappear.

Not sure if you’re saying it will be all pass through or a mixture of passthrough and Swallowbay. Unfortunately, either way, it won’t be for me as I don’t watch PT stuff (it doesn’t even show up on my feed) and Swallowbay scenes are some of the least interesting scenes out there.

I wish you the best but it’s disappointing that we won’t be getting a new director with a new vision in VR, just more of the same. Thanks for giving it a go though which is more than all of us will ever do!

This. Some of the best scenes that I still watch from SLR are from OnTheTelly and SimsenseMedia. But for some reason as soon as they get good they cut them. Or in this case One scene and something happened. Kai Lep got like 6 scenes and then nothing.

There is no way to know how the footage will look until you are at the post production stage. Unless you have experience filming. I do not have experience filming so I rely on those around me. It is blind faith that they know what they are doing. Based on where I live, there is high prejudice against porn filming, making finding the right people significantly difficult. If I had someone I knew and trusted who could work a camera and do lighting, then that is a different story.

The scenes will not be 'Swallowbay', they will be filmed by the director for Swallowbay who has directed for almost every other VR studio as well.

jommy I tried to watch those CGI scenes but as you said they suffer from floaty dick syndrome, wonder if there is a way to add CGI male torso or something, how do you guys watch those scenes?

As someone who has considered jumping into VR porn production - in what ways was the production / post "significantly more work and learning than I anticipated"? Was the extra work due to the complexities of VR, or lighting, audio, how long rendering the huge files takes? Please expand if you can, and you may be able to deter me from future porn endeavors 🙂

xeddin1 Best of luck to you man. I have been trying to fight for you after I saw your first scene. PT isn't my thing so hopefully you become so good that you will make some regular scenes in the future.

I fell like you will be good at this because you actually watch VR porn. All the other directors need somebody like you to guide them.
