Q: Are you not filming for SLR?
A: I live in Canada. I am eternally thankful to SLR for giving me my start, but it is way too much work to film myself and I do not have the time nor the care to learn from the ground up (especially because it will be hard for me to be paid if I need to shadow someone). It is significantly more work and learning than I anticipated and I would have to depend on strangers and build a crew of people I trust here in Canada. I would rather just give an outline of what is to be done and leave the other work to those who know what they are doing, pay them for their service, and own the scene.

Q: So if you aren't filming, who is?
A: Swallowbay will be filming the scenes. I will pick the girls, give the tone, and what is to be done.

Q: Why passthrough?
A: Everything takes time and money. Having a dedicated space for filming allows more scenes to be filmed without the hassle or cost of finding new zones. It is either passthrough or the same scenery. ARporn has assisted in providing logistics and an editor for alpha channels.

Q: Are you still going to make PMVs?
A: Always. The time it took me to make my first original scene took away a lot of time I could have been making PMVs. This will allow me to be able to continue making great PMVs while at the same time owning my own original studio.

Q: Will you make xyz? I really want you to make this, or make that, will you listen to me?
A: I will make content that aligns with my interests, and rarely (if ever) deter from that.

Q: Wtf does that mean ^?
A: I don't believe someone can make something great if they are not passionate about it. I am not passionate about feet or armpits so I will not make content about that. I like big tits, big ass, sloppy head, cute faces, confident girls, cowgirl, reverse, and cumshots (and other stuff but yeah thats the gist).

Q: Where will you find talent?
A: North America. Las Vegas is a plus.

    1. So you're going to fund these scenes yourself and pay Swallowbay and ARPorn for their services? That's at least a couple grand per scene and probably not much profit.
    2. Does that mean you are only going to be using cheaper female and male talent to keep costs down?
    3. Isn't ARporn pretty much the enemy of SLR?
    4. Is Swallowbay going to be making most of the creative decisions, since you're apparently just going to be giving high level instructions from afar?
    5. Do you speak French?

    Also OnlyCutiesVR doesn't sound like a great name for a studio focusing on big ass and big tits.

            I feel like pool of performers for that would be relatively small. Most of the girls in mainstream porn with big tits are older and have bolt-ons... so not exactly what I would personally describe as cute.

                        At least you're honest enough to tell the real reason of why porn studios using PT for their videos. I really respect that.

                          Glokta I believe part of this was the background with all the sparkles and glitter. Higher bitrates were still struggling with all that background noise.
                          That said I've seen recent swallowbay scenes,and they've improved slightly in quality. AI upscaling maybe?
                          And since xeddin is focusing strictly on passthrough, he might just leapfrog these issues. Let the man have a crack at it atleast.
                          I would have preferred regular scenes, but it's a start with passthrough.
                          His first SLRO pornoverse scene pleasantly surprised me albeit with some technical issues.

                            Why can’t SLR ever hang on to directors apart from Alex Nash and his mate John Strong? I know, in this case, it was your decision and I hope it works out for you but it’s just disappointing to see another director disappear.

                            Not sure if you’re saying it will be all pass through or a mixture of passthrough and Swallowbay. Unfortunately, either way, it won’t be for me as I don’t watch PT stuff (it doesn’t even show up on my feed) and Swallowbay scenes are some of the least interesting scenes out there.

                            I wish you the best but it’s disappointing that we won’t be getting a new director with a new vision in VR, just more of the same. Thanks for giving it a go though which is more than all of us will ever do!

                                jommy I tried to watch those CGI scenes but as you said they suffer from floaty dick syndrome, wonder if there is a way to add CGI male torso or something, how do you guys watch those scenes?

Was the extra work due to the complexities of VR, or lighting, audio, how long rendering the huge files takes? Please expand if you can, and you may be able to deter me from future porn endeavors 🙂

                                      This. Some of the best scenes that I still watch from SLR are from OnTheTelly and SimsenseMedia. But for some reason as soon as they get good they cut them. Or in this case One scene and something happened. Kai Lep got like 6 scenes and then nothing.

                                          There is no way to know how the footage will look until you are at the post production stage. Unless you have experience filming. I do not have experience filming so I rely on those around me. It is blind faith that they know what they are doing. Based on where I live, there is high prejudice against porn filming, making finding the right people significantly difficult. If I had someone I knew and trusted who could work a camera and do lighting, then that is a different story.

                                          The scenes will not be 'Swallowbay', they will be filmed by the director for Swallowbay who has directed for almost every other VR studio as well.
