Play area not found

Yesterday I formatted my PC. Since then, everytime I try to watch a video, the video lags and appears with black pixels, then a message from Oculus rift S appears 'Play area not found'. This only happens with this app, I can play many other games withut trouble

Rakly3 I know ,that's why I'm so confused my oculus is asking this to me every minute. But also the video is Really slow since I formatted my PC. I wish I can send a video so you can see

Okay I did some tests and I am able to play videos on 1920p. If I go higher than that the video does not load. My speed test ID is 8384

amorotez do you experience a difference between h.264 and h.265?

Try downloading a high resolution video to your computer and try to open it for viewing with a standard player. Perhaps after reinstalling the system, you need to check the work of the codecs.

Yar Okyy I just downloaded the same video from sexliekreal.com and opened them in the app. 4K h.264 works fine, 4Kh.265 is extremely slow. This seems to be the problem. Do you know how do I fix this? I literally discovered today video codecs 🙁

Rakly3 Everytime I try to change from h.264 to h,265, immediately goes back to h264

Okay nevermind, I got to fix the error. IT was somethign related to the codecs on myt PC. Thank you all! Quick responses from SLR are really appreciated!

amorotez if you would still have issues with h.265 on windows, you need this too
