On the topic of greatly increasing quality would be to come up with a way of standardizing the optimal measurements/distances for each sex position :
My suggestion for the SLR team is as follows....
These distances urgently need to be standardized with measurements. One idea is with common laser measuring tools. Once they get these things under proper quality control with consistent and repeatable methods , you will see a huge uptick in immersion at proper distances like JAV almost always has.
Laying position is the most popular and therefore should be prioritized to get right. In laying position since in theory the position should always be a fixed flat angle (or very close to it) the distance between the lense and the cock should alway net out very close to the distance of an average height male measured from his head (by his eyes) on a pillow propped up to his cock. The camera may also need a very small angle to it slightly upwards as well (this would need to be tested).
I dont know if this is how JAV does it but they seem to nail it pretty consistently.
Prior to each position change in a scene there should be a quality control person that has very specific tested lense to cock distances for each position orientation . That person should set up the camera with those measurements tested by laser perhaps to ensure accuracy.
Ultimately this may or may not be the best way but something like this conceptually needs to be implemented for consistency and repeatability.
Lastly the model needs to be given specific easy to follow instruction on where her optimal head distance range should be during leaning cowgirl and exactly where her eyes should be looking while she is looking at the camera for consistent centered eye contact.
