I have watched a ronof video since VRs inception in 2015/16. I have moonlighted as a VR videoeditor and made PMVs/Compilations. Through all of that I have indirectly and at times directly took note of what are the major contitutients that make a great scene:

  1. In focus and high resolution shot scene with a high quality camera rig.

  2. A high quality set up and scene setting. Immersive environment and background.

  3. Good theme based acting that draws the viewer totally in on the intended theme.

  4. Premedidated and calculated distances for the camera on each sex position to maximize being able to see key body parts in focus during the action while not being too close or faraway.

  5. A proper level of seduction and/or foreplay (i.e strip tease, dirty talk, girls kissing , playing with each other etc)

  6. A good mix of cock tease or cock worship (kissing the head, tongue bathing the frenulum and/or balls or in threesomes two girls dancing their tongues on opposite sides of the shaft) and then deepthroat.

  7. Enough gyrating and grinding in cowgirl or reverse cowgirl not just straight up and down robotic fucking. In VR you acrually feel immersed more wh3n the girl gyrates her hips a bit more sensually going up and down on your cock.

  8. Whispering in the ear throughout different positions especially in 3 somes.

  9. Enough eye contact in each position.

  10. A soles up and enough feet worship portion in the more zoomed out missionary position part of scene.   11. Melanie Marie has mastered this in almost every PT and non PT SLR scene she has done. Stratton in a neural link also nailed this BOTH in laying and seated CG. Laying #1, then semi laying or seated are by far the most common positions while watching VR and therefore should be catered to the most since even non PT encoded scenes now can be watched as AI PT.

  12. I think in recent months SLR has really stepped up their game . Many of these latest videos nail most of these critrical items. One of the other main area the subbers have been asking for is more 3 somes and 4 or more and SLR has been delivering. Even a 3-some PT with Melanie which was glorious!

    I also agree with all of this. I would add a couple of other points to the discussion.

    1. Make sure that the actresses' hair and makeup are well done. If an actress has some bit of distracting or unflattering clothing on, at least it will eventually come off by the end of the scene. However, if the actress has an unflattering/bad hairstyle or distracting/bad makeup on, it will be there throughout the entire scene. To me, when their hair and makeup are on point, it adds that little extra to a scene that makes it go from ordinary to extraordinary.

    2. Cleanliness. I like the foot stuff. However, dirty feet are a hard no.

    3. I know there is the debate of hand/no hands; it personally doesn't bother me. Although, if there is hand use, avoid doing this:

        doublevr done it private only years ago with powerdirector on my phone when 4K was considered good lol. I have my own older compliations stored on my hard drive.

                        On the topic of greatly increasing quality would be to come up with a way of standardizing the optimal measurements/distances for each sex position :

                        My suggestion for the SLR team is as follows....

                        These distances urgently need to be standardized with measurements. One idea is with common laser measuring tools. Once they get these things under proper quality control with consistent and repeatable methods , you will see a huge uptick in immersion at proper distances like JAV almost always has.

                        Laying position is the most popular and therefore should be prioritized to get right. In laying position since in theory the position should always be a fixed flat angle (or very close to it) the distance between the lense and the cock should alway net out very close to the distance of an average height male measured from his head (by his eyes) on a pillow propped up to his cock. The camera may also need a very small angle to it slightly upwards as well (this would need to be tested).

                        I dont know if this is how JAV does it but they seem to nail it pretty consistently.

                        Prior to each position change in a scene there should be a quality control person that has very specific tested lense to cock distances for each position orientation . That person should set up the camera with those measurements tested by laser perhaps to ensure accuracy.

                        Ultimately this may or may not be the best way but something like this conceptually needs to be implemented for consistency and repeatability.

                        Lastly the model needs to be given specific easy to follow instruction on where her optimal head distance range should be during leaning cowgirl and exactly where her eyes should be looking while she is looking at the camera for consistent centered eye contact.

                          I have said this before too. So easy to use.
                          And get a level gauge with a laser to show where the camera is exactly looking. Then you don't have to guess if the camera is in the right position. Is the laser pointing straight down the middle of the body. No then change it so it is.
                          These things can be very small and you could velco them on.

                            Perfect SLR video includes some sensual spitting/drooling into the viewer's mouth. SLR has been one of the leaders with this. Keep it up! (and please consider doing more JAV-like spitting when the girl is in cowgirl)
