fenderwq Personally, I think the value of flat porn in a VR device is after it's been stereo converted. With that, plus good camera angles, it looks amazing - ends up looking very similar to a scene by Jack & Jill, and we know how popular they are. But I understand that most people aren't trying it for themselves and investing in resource heavy 3D rendering when initial reception has been low isn't the best ROI.

Hopefully tech improves so much that rendering is no longer so resource heavy and they can do it for all the flats later. I'm already so spoiled by VR, I'm not invested unless it's 3D lol.

          doublevr Did you guys look into realtime 3d conversion? On the AVP the 'moonplayer' app has such option and actually works quite well. Sure, it's not nearly as good as native 3d but it certainly looks better than just flat. That way it wouldn't cost you guys any processing power.
