We will be dropping converting flat to ai sbs for time being until we get better stereo algorithms. Doesn't seem like a huge boost and requires a lot of processing power. Getting flat videos projected into vr hemisphere along with 60fps conversation gives the most improvement.

Given the very small amount of likes on Flat video's it seems most users here are not interested in them and turned them off in their feed, me being one of them. I honestly doubt this is something VR users are interested in and it seems that the numbers agree that this might not be an good avenue for you guys to explore and/or invest in.

So you mean immersive flat? Flat (immersive) video's would only be interesting for me when they're AI scripted. 99% isn't at the moment...

fenderwq Personally, I think the value of flat porn in a VR device is after it's been stereo converted. With that, plus good camera angles, it looks amazing - ends up looking very similar to a scene by Jack & Jill, and we know how popular they are. But I understand that most people aren't trying it for themselves and investing in resource heavy 3D rendering when initial reception has been low isn't the best ROI.

Hopefully tech improves so much that rendering is no longer so resource heavy and they can do it for all the flats later. I'm already so spoiled by VR, I'm not invested unless it's 3D lol.

3D rendered flat vids is the closest we'll ever get to getting a VR experience from some of these all star actresses with no VR scenes

rerun119 I know that SLR is committed to getting lots of flat videos. I just don't see why anybody would spend money for these videos when they can get them for free.

It's a fact that people pay for porn, if they did not then porn membership websites wouldn't exist, including SLR

There's a ton of free porn but people want for example: specific, higher quality or more quantity, so they pay

Shit, even just having it all under one roof like SLR is worth paying for, it's why a lot of people are paying for SLR membership right now

Having scripts and other SLR features is gonna be icing on the cake

doublevr Did you guys look into realtime 3d conversion? On the AVP the 'moonplayer' app has such option and actually works quite well. Sure, it's not nearly as good as native 3d but it certainly looks better than just flat. That way it wouldn't cost you guys any processing power.
