  • I am getting a strange (slow motion?) audio problem on several videos.

    Im about to cancel my subscription if they don't give us some sort of update, possible resolution, or potential ETA. It's like all the good scenes.

    DaveBowman2001 yeah man and I tried downloading them onto my laptop, plays audio fine on the laptop! Slo-mo man voices once loaded back into the Q3 and played on local files in deo!

      Just an FYI but it's not just realjam vids affected even though it's a lot of them (maybe a clue somehow?). I've seen even a SLROriginal have this (Office scene with Jill Kassidy)

        Kolaches its got to be them trying to do the av1 resolution. Whatever they're doing, they need to stop until it gets fixed

            Reeses Indeed, it may have started with the release of DeoVR 14.5 in which AV1 codec support was added. I had trouble already back then because I was on Quest OS PTC and had v74 already.

                Reeses I guess you could downgrade DeoVR if you had the apk but I think there are no official sources for downloading old versions. I think a while ago some PCVR people in this forum had issues and were asking for an older version of the Steam app but they did not get it from the developers.

                  Heresphere fixed this same issue, which seems to have started from V74 of Meta Quest, more than a week ago in a new update. I had the same sound problems with HS on some local stored VR vids, so this is not only a DeoVR problem.
                  HS developer said it was due to vids with more than 2 audiochannels...

                      bazzio The one guy that makes Heresphere must be a computer genius. He fixes everything by himself fast without breaking anything else along the way.

                          rerun119 Not breaking stuff for users is like developer 101. The fact that 1 guy can fix problems faster than a big team of developers & testers while also having a vastly more stable app is crazy. I think it says a lot about the company culture and/or skill issues.

                              Just letting everyone know that that we are investigating the issue and it is the highest priority for us to fix it. It seems the problem appeared after latest quest firmware update (v74). Thanks everyone for your patience and understanding.

                                Hairsational ever notice thst paid stuff seems to have far more problems than free stuff for whatever reason?

                                  kingwizard please keep us up to date, this is aggravating. Seems like it's half of my videos saved in favorites.

                                    noticed this issue last night on ONE of my vids i uploaded to drive, i thought it was a problem with the video itself as the others were fine so i deleted it from drive, dammit, will have to reupload and hope it gets fixed soon, lost a credit getting it scripted though 🙁
