sogman Im sure the thought behind it is to guide people to stream only and never feel the need to download. But then why not remove download ability alltogether? If the goal is to try and guide people towards streaming off the platform vs downloading, I mean... I bought lifetime so its not like Im going anywhere. Not sure what the idea is behind the throttle

So they can charge for additional script downloads. By limiting the included script downloads, more people will buy individual scripts.

Generate AI scripts almost for free, charge a few $ each, pure profit. It's probably a huge cash cow.

    ...wasn't it three hand made scripts a month for ages, then they introduced AI and added ten AI plus the original three HM, then panicked because they realised they were giving away the home world, and when the AI started producing actual content they reduced it to the current three plus three?

    So technically i have more downloads now as an LT than when i joined (six vs three), but if i joined during the 'thirteen free scripts' era, then i'd understandably feel i had been somewhat hoodwinked. SLR should definitely have done more to let people know the ten AI script thing was more of a sweetener to encourage feedback on their new baby.

    But then customer relations and SLR are a bit of a mixed bag, innit...!

    I agree, I don't like the script download limit.
    As a Lifetime user for both videos and script, I can download 30 videos in 6 days but only 3 + 3 scripts in a month.
    Let's say I want to download original quality videos and watch them while using my toy, I can do that for 6 videos in a month.
    Would it be so bad for SLR to let people download the video and its script toghether? You download the video, you are allowed to download its script.

    This limit is not making me buy scripts, I'm just looking elsewhere, Eroscripts or the promising AI scripting softwares under development.

      I bought lifetime mostly because paying for porn is a pain, and every transaction is both a security / privacy risk and opens you up to questions from your bank. Do it once and not have to worry again. Plus, if you think you'll be watching for a few years, it makes financial sense, and there's no risk of increased sub fees.

      I don't expect any say in the company or any bonuses. I would like a slightly more generous script allowance though!

      To everybody that watches videos with scripts. If there is a human made script, it will not load unless you back out and look to see if there is one.
      I feel bad for @RealcumberScripts because he is missing out on lots of money because of this. And people are getting the AI script.
      AI script is the default script that loads. Even if there is a human one. You only get the human one if you look to see if there is one. You can watch is the heat map change when you back out to see.
      I have been watching SLR scenes where are the girl is touching 'your cock' and think that is weird that @RealcumberScripts didn't script that part so I think maybe he didn't script this one. I look and BANG the human script loads. This has happened multiple times so its not a one off its how the app is made.

        As a lifetime member, I expect to pay a big wedge once and then get the same as every other paying member irrespective of what period they paid for. I don’t expect to get anything extra over anyone else. My reward is that I never have to pay ever again.

        In answer to the title of this thread, should lifetime members be ignored? Probably yes, they already have our money and are never getting any more off us so why should they worry about what we want? They should be trying to entice new customers or keep those on monthly/annual subs. Lifetime members are basically dead to them as soon as we purchase the membership as we’re no longer potential sources of income.

            Some here have been saying this for a while. Just a matter of time before there are alternatives. Im sure SLR will adjust, they must have a ton of people buying scripts right now at $10 apice, but that will change given time

            What gets me is if I did not have a subscription, it still costs the same. Or with my subscription to SLR I could just stream and not download scripts at all... so Im not sure what would make me want to buy a script, especially $10 a pop, too rich for me. Even for my alltime favorite videos. Not sure if Im getting the point across but yeah Im not disagreeing with you

                    petermc I dont think "ignored" is the right word really. Preferential treatment over others might describe what I think hes getting at. I am lifetime, Im not better than anyone here, I also dont feel like Im being ignored for the most part. I just dont think it works that way with this kinda site. This isnt some little junky shady site, this has a growing user base that interact with eachother. Look at us here right now just chatting and sharing opinions, you dont get that a whole lot elsewhere.

                    But you also are word of mouth advertising. Its also not just "pay once" when they have add-on charges; video scripts are an extra cost, the drive feature is an extra cost, there are more in the works you would have to pay extra to use. So yeah they definitely have to worry about what we want if they want more money lol. A lot of people including lifetime subs were saying $10 pop on AI scripts was insane, so apparently they did not sell many, now the price is what $4 or something. Much more reasonable. Hopefully their sales are boosing as a result. If the AI stuff keeps breaking, people are going to pay some $15 or $30 a month for a buggy broken SLR drive? I dont think so. The marked always corrects itself, but they will figure it out cause this site has been around for a hot minute now and they do not seem to be unable or unwilling to course correct when needed

                      sogman After the handy is connected I always just leave the page with the handy controls open. The page where you can move the delay and the range. If you click the back button (top right arrow). It takes you back to where you can see the different scripts that are available. When you look it jumps to realcumbers script and reloads the script with his.
                      Every scene starts with AI script no matter if there are human ones.

                              rerun119 I just tested this and got the same result. I went to an SLR Original and it defaulted to the AI script, i had to go to the options on the right side to switch it to the RealCumber script.

                                  HughMungus hi, can you please let me know if this is happening with one exact video or on all videos that you open?
                                  We have checked and on our end manual script always plays by default, so we would need more details to reproduce it. If it happens on one video, please let us know which one

                                      InfiniteFun I dont have too many handmade or downloaded scripts. Would you happen to know how they load? Like does the video title matter a lot? I want to keep them organized, so I will download a script on slr and then rename it to my liking and it seems to work sofar. But does the name of the script have to match the name of the video it is linking to 100% word for word, or does it just have to have a few similar words, or can it be something completely different like jibberish code and still sorta find the video and match itself? Do you know? I just want to make sure im good to rename the scripts and store them or if Im better off leaving them alone

                                          sogman ...in my experience, title is very important, like matching an .srt file for subtitles, you need to rename the funscript file so it exactly matches the video it's encoded to...

                                            HughMungus I've seen mention in a few threads about bggg+ scenes. I'm not sure if I'm what you like, but I'll be doing a few of those the 3rd week of March so maybe I can get one out the last week. I have some older content that I still need to move so all of the new stuff doesn't go first, but it's not falling on deaf ears.

                                                Local scripts must be in "Interactive" folder and for local videos script file must match video name, for streaming it could be either video name or video ID
