Hi, I'm not a technically savvy member here. Until yesterday I had like 9 AV1 videos on my Drive, then I learned my Quest 2 can't play them. So I deleted all of those and replaced with 4 h264 videos. I get that that was my misunderstanding. But now apparently none of those can get an AI script because the height/width has to be under 4096??? Did I get videos that were too detailed? I want to enjoy Handy scripts with the most vivid visuals, but if I can't, tell me what parameters will work. Is there a necessary tradeoff between visual and feel? I want the most immersion I can get.
Also, as a "Lifetime" subscriber I've been waiting months to try this out and am not thrilled by the roadblocks that I now have to raise in these forums knowing I will then have other forum users bring up "um, actually..." + comments that makes me feel like a ******* dumbass. I guess that's just how beta testing is, but if it isn't too much bother please at least put out a "for Dummies" explanation of what can and cannot be done with the SLR drive now, so your less savvy users like me can find it and not have to deal with forum ridicule.
[FYI the general state of comments on SLR is that regular viewers, those who don't know how to shoot a porn scene, develop VR content, or have strong opinions on the tendencies of various porn directors, should just STFU. Case-in-Point: I don't have opinions about Alex Nash, and if I hadn't seen SO MANY complaints in the comments I wouldn't have known or thought about him at all, but OMFG there are so many comments from backseat directors who think they know better.]
FWIW I am very much in favor of the SLR Drive as a new feature. I like what I have heard will be "potentially" offered. But am now much more concerned that my Lifer status will mean nothing and get me almost nothing when these features release to the general user base.
