  • Download credit for scripts..barely any non-ai left

So this may be a niche problem, but a while ago it was 3 non/10 ai scripts, now it has been cut down to 3non/3ai scripts per month for download.
However i'm running into the issue that pretty much all of the downloads ONLY have AI scripts making the non AI ones pretty much useless.
I feel in the future with AI getting so good there is simply not going to be any "human" scripts left...
Can we just change it to X amount of scripts?

    ....i'd be okay with that, as long as it doesn't rapidly shrink down to 3 in total, because suddenly a month later AI scripts are as good as hand made ones (spoiler alert, they ain't and they won't be). Somehow i was under the impression that if you buy a v1.wtvr script, and it gets upgraded to the next wtvr version you're entitled to the upgrade? Correct me if i'm wrong. But that's kinda one reason to separate them, i suppose?

    The big discussion we never have is the direction of handcrafted scripts on SLR, which is a pity. AI scripts will never be the equal of HC ones, and SLR should continue to pursue HC as a priority, in my opinion. It might be that that is the case, but as i say, there's no conversation around this subject, ever, so nobody knows.

    Going off inference, i did notice quite a few extra HC scripts last night, which was a pleasant surprise, and a couple of scripters names i don't recognise. Which is excellent! Hopefully a sign of times to come...

      Also hope we more priority towards HC scripts. AI does not compare to a good hand crafted script. There are certain things and movements AI does not track or track well so for better immersion i always more go for the vids with hc scripts

        InfiniteFun There had been talk of emphasis on hand crafted, and yeah we are seeing some more new names other than realcucumber. But issue is its hard finding people who want to script. You can script if you want, and send it in and get some cash, but the process is super super tedious and the payout is not great unless you want a script that costs more than $10, and less than 3x downloads a month. Good luck finding 1 anymore. Just where we are at, nobody really wants to make them. But again, you can script if you like and send them in. Personally I dont mind the AI scripts, they work fine for me. But maybe you personally can be the solution to the problem of not enough HC scripts 🙂

          frank43 Thought of that too and weve asked in a roundabout way. But they usually come back with something like "AI scripts cost more than HC scripts cause its more costly to render with AI than with a human" which I never really accepted. But what do I know, Im just on the comsumer side. It would be nice to have the download limit updated though, I totally agree with you.
