We have converted some Canon CRAWs directly into AV1. Really loved the quality boost:

Suggest some Originals to re-master with AV1 renders, better color grading and stitching, improved keying for PT scenes + SLR secret sauce. We’ll also address the blue edge lens artifact, possibly blurring it out or converting it to a neutral color.
Just FYI it's about one week per scene to remaster in manual work and render time + one week for transcoding.
Looks like we have found a magic combo for production and post production. All the new Originals are coming in incredible quality. Can't believe how good it is.
