Porn is the best study of supply and demand there is. If people want it then somebody is going to jump on it.

I think you either put on a VR headset and are blown away by it or I guess you aren't.
For some reason people seem to believe there are lots of people trying it and just not liking it. Why do people think this?
I think way more likely is that
1: Tons of the headsets are sold to minors
2: People aren't used to paying for porn so they either don't bring themselves to do it for lots of reasons, or they pirate it.
3: They might have roommates or a wife so it is harder to hide it. Way easier to take your phone to the bathroom for 10 minutes.
If you want more people to watch VR porn then everybody's time would be better spent on fixing these barriers

      When someone first tries VR Porn they are presented with intimate GFE since it's the majority of content produced now.
      That's the whole point. They aren't going to start searching for a needle in the haystack, there might be 50 pages of NonPov but that's out of a thousand.

      And so, you get comments like these :

      These are all comments of people that don't like GFE POV porn, but they see no other options! They think that's all there is in VR and rightuflly so, since that's what 90% of videos are like! You can't expect for people to go looking for what they don't even know is there!

          rerun119 not if it’s missing one specific kink no but, if it’s missing anything remotely adventurous or exciting and you’re left with almost exclusively vanilla GFE porn with young teen looking girls, that will turn your average porn fan off it.             This is a porn problem. It is worse because POV feels more real so it becomes more noticeable. But I guess this realness really brings this ONE person down. How is 2d less fake?

                  Really don't understand people getting upset over content existing or watching and commenting genres they aren't into. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Not everything has to be for you.

                    Unfortunately, there's nothing to help people that are in the POVerty way of thinking because it's disordered illogical behavior.

                        uioz by definition, simulating something is not the same as actually doing it. No one is trying to say watching VR porn is the same as actually having sex with a real woman.

                                                alphaRonaldo I guess it can be done but they say they're already using 165 cameras for what they're doing so in total they're probably already spending 300k usd on that setup and need a lot of signups/sales to justify building bigger rigs to record more than a single 5 foot woman. I don't think it will happen with conventional cameras, but there exists cameras that use filters that instead of just splitting into rgb refract the light in such a way that the angle of the ray is measured. You could probably record a whole scene for 6dof with a fraction of the cameras if they had that technology. But it's not used in entertainment yet and there's a tradeoff with resolution that's probably not great for VR unless you find some kind of upscaling workaround.
