...oh yeah, for sure, PMV's are entirely their own experience! Be like a weird mime video without any music, or really badly syncopated with the wrong track. i'm sorry, i think i got distracted and started rambling about music in general in porn, not PMV's!
i love background music in porn, but musical taste can be contentious, and some people just don't
want it there at all, so i guess most productions are gonna go for the old lowest common denominator safe zone, and ignore it. One tends to find it in intro's or maybe for a little dance at the beginning occasionally if you're lucky, but that's it.
So it's an exploitable niche.
As SLR is aiming to be a full on streaming service on steroids, it might be possible to have toggleable different music in the background, or just let us upload our own and allow us to play it from the SLR drive whilst watching a favourite scene. That way we get to control volume levels.
Though now you got me thinking, if the BPM is the same, you can get away with playing different tracks over the same PMV visual, so maybe toggle option for different styles?
The parts of the brain that code for music are far older than the ones for language, it's a primal thing, get a music toggle right and SLR can add another useful arrow to their quiver...
