Upcoming tab is now there which is great, thank you.
A new thing Iโve noticed though when looking in upcoming tab or even just the new tab. If you include a filter, like anal for example, it works initially on the first page of videos but as soon as you move to page 2, the anal filter is removed and you get all of the scenes.
It seems like the pages have a hard limit of twelve items, which is pretty low compared to the old website's number of items per page. Also, I'm apparently at an awkward resolution where five items show up per row, so I get two rows of five and then one row of two. Anyone with a superwide monitor will have two rows of six.
Specifically for the page control at the bottom, the light gray background for the current page has too little contrast compared to the gray of the other pages. The old website's use of an orange background for the current page is way easier to read.
anordr Thanks for the feedback. The main page will be completely rebuilt to more YouTube-like style with infinite scroll and special personalised horizontal sections:
P.s.: Sections itself will be personalised as well. Some sections will be shown to you while others won't.
I tried the website for the first time -
I am sure it is a big change for SLR (probably a new web technology) but it looked mostly the same to me.
One thing I did notice was looking at my playlists : I couldnt find one of them in the new website when I clicked through the pages. I wonder if you are incrementing one-too-many playlists forward when someone clicks onto page 2 ?
kingwizard Please for the love of God.. allow the playlist to be organized alphabetically. So many of us have requested this for ages now. Even Excel could do this 20 years ago.
But I like the overall change. Its nice. Is there no "remind me" button or "watch later" button anymore? Or were these removed to minamalize it?

Sure, we are already working on different playlist sorting options. Thanks for your feedback. Watch later is technically a playlist and is available on the thumbnail hover and inside playlists section.. Remind functionality is still in our backlog.

I don't understand why they can't add a slider to turn that content on or off and available on the main page. Instead they treat those genres like a leper colony.
fuccaneer You have to bring back the screenshots mosiac. "Photos" tell maybe 5% of what a scene has--we need the screenshots mosiac to preview positions, POV vs non, etc throughout the length of the scene.
100% agree with this suggestion. The current 4 pics is definitely not sufficient.
catflap Yeah like I said, some of my playlists were missing as well. May have figured it out, at least what applies to me: I have 2 pages of playlists. Im assuming the missing playlists are on page 2. But if you click the page 2, it does not go to page 2 it just refreshes the current page 1. Maybe a bug but I 100% cannot access several playlists on the new beta version of slr.
We have a task to implement screenshots gallery (mosaic) as a part of video page re-work. Will make sure it's delivered within this task, thanks for your comments.
erniescar69 it was programmed like separate frameworks. right now we are merging VR, flat, gay, trans into a single unit enabling users to turn it on and off

I use screenshots mosaic constantly. I am forced to use it because cover photos and pro gallery and vid previews dont tell nearly half the story of whats in the scene. I look at screenshots mosiac to understand the extent of my preferred positions, to understand what the scenes contains in action, to see the camera placements from a VR perspective, to check video duration, to see codec specifics of the base version of the video, and to see how the models actual look on camera. Sometimes the cover and preview photos are so misleading, I'm forced to look at the mosaic to tell whether the scene is actually alpha PT or not.
The pro photos do not give a good indication of what the scene actually includes...especially from a VR perspective. Plus they are cherry-picked to inspire viewing without consideration of what the bulk of the scene actually includes. The video previews are misleading as fuck in many cases and, specifically for me, are blocked from playing because of my browser security settings (what the fuck cross-site and/or streaming codec settings are you using that is so easily blocked by basic browser security settings anyway?).
If you manage to deliver the information I'm looking for without using screenshot mosiacs, that would be cool. But deprecating them and leaving that gap of info would significantly reduce the usability of the browser website --at least for me.
fuccaneer I completely agree. I use the mosiac as my primary resource to decide if I want the scene or not. I never bother with preview vids, tags etc. Four pictures is simply not enough for any length scene in my opinion, not 15 minutes and most definitely not an hour and 15 minutes. And it's also worth mentioning that some studios use promo screenshots that don't even appear in the final cut of the scene.
