DeoVR not working anymore on Meta Quest

Since I am the only one here, whose app no longer works at all, I also suspect an issue with my connection. I will test a different network over the Christmas holidays and get back to you. I have already done a factory reset on my HMD and checked/rebooted my router settings. Several speed tests showed no issues. Tricky stuff... 🙁

I tried connecting via phone hotspot and a different network over Christmas and the app isn't loading at all. Still stuck in the loading screen.

JordanSLR yes I can access the website via meta browser. I also can open the DeoVR PC App. Only the standalone App doesn't work.

I've gotten that a few times over the last two months, I open it and it just loaded so I'd try again, also check if your on meta vr beta version, I'm no longer on beta versions cuz I replaced my q3 with a newer q3 512gb version and I just left it as is, and since then I haven't had that issue, knock on wood, but if you're not on it then turn beta on and see if u get same issue, my deo works! I just got off it. Got in a 20 minute bike work out with this hottie!! Was great!

One time it didn't turn on at all and I left it alone, next day was working good, honestly I think it could of been the meta update or some new vr game I downloaded fucking with my headset, apps be doing that, one app I downloaded made my quest go all out of wack, it kept going into sleep mode, so deleted the app and the headset work fine, vr is never set it's always evolving always in beta lol. But it's ok 👍 fun times!

Vrsumo2017 thank u for ur reply. I assume you mean Meta PTC with "Beta Version"? I'm not on PTC, my Headset runs on live v72 Meta OS.

I also think it might has something to do with the Headset, not with the DeoVR App. As we know, Meta OS simply is Android and therefore often doing fcked up stuff. 😆 I had some issues like yours with my Quest 3 over the past months. Normally a simple reboot fixes most issues but the current one with DeoVR sadly is quite persistent. Maybe time will fix it. 😥

I had the same issue for a day and a half and just completely removed the DEOVR app and re-downloaded it and that has resolved it. Prior to this, updating both the app and the headset and restarting didn't work. Hope it works for you too!

JordanSLR he could download it from sidequest if it still not working, maybe that will help.

I know he can revert back to previous version with a app converter off side quest

I used this one time, I was on version 13.5 for a while cuz of pt, lol

Tested again with a different wifi (it worked) and i'm now pretty sure, that my router firmware is the problem. It's not only DeoVR that is stuck in the loading screen. Meta's Horizon apps are also loading very slowly. The headset is currently only usable as a PCVR Headset.

Found a lot of the same issues posted by people in national forums. It's always this particular router model and internet provider which interferes with Meta HMD's. Some were lucky and the problem fixed itself. Others, like me, were unlucky and the problem suddenly appeared. No official fix to this day.

Since I will be moving and changing my internet provider in March, I accept this as it is and will not undertake any further troubleshooting for now.

Ersia286 I reuploaded again for Quest 3 and the same AB glitches still exist, and I also noticed the zoom is not functional.
