This is an interesting question. Something that probably should be studied, but probably won't be anytime soon. In this new age in which we are moving closer and closer to gender equality, at least economically, one wonders where this all ends up. The changes in gender equality have likely already changed birth rates in some countries, like Japan, and South Korea. Women don't always get married because economically they have to anymore there. A positive take on VRPorn, is that, if masturbation becomes like having a cigarette, and we separate some aspects of sexuality from procreation, perhaps it may smooth out this transition. Men are going to have to get used to not being top of the food chain, which appears to be coming at a struggle, at least in some places. Maybe, getting the animal need to spread seed far and wide, can be taken care of with VRsex, and put humans, regardless of gender, into relationships that they really want to be in, and are no longer forced to be, economically. Then, they'll just be forced to be in relationships, economically, to be able to afford a house... It's going to be an interesting 10-20 years, to be sure.
