I want to renew my premium subscription with "PayPal by Epoch" as payment option.
I'm redirected to Epoch's billing site when I select the annual premium and PayPal option. But only, when I don't use a valid promo code that I got.
Trying to apply that code and selecting PayPal leads to an error message like "Transaction was unsuccessful
Please check your credit card details or use another billing company. Another billing might approve your card."
Why can't I use PayPal together with a promo code? Applying the code in the checkout shows the discounted price, so the code must be valid.
Edit: I also tried it with "Visa/Mastercard by Epoch", it's the same, it doesn't work with a promo code.
