              rerun119 Long cables can contribute to the problem but the bigger problem is the cheap cable.

              It works like this:

              • Every cable has some degree of electrical resistance.
              • Cheaper cables often have much more resistance that pricier cables. Reasons include: connectors made from cheaper materials that wear out quicker, poorly designed connectors that don't make good contact or are more susceptible to physical damage, thinner wires, wires not made from copper, thinner/more flexible materials around the wires that offer less protection from damage.
              • Longer cables have more resistance than shorter cables.
              • More resistance means less current can flow through the cable at the same voltage (i.e. slower charging).
              • More resistance means more energy is lost as heat (how incandesent light bulbs work).
              • All of the energy lost as heat from resistance in the wires and connectors of the cable has to be dissipated in some way. Most heat is dissipated through the connectors into the device or charger.
              • If the resistance is high and more heat is being generated than is being dissipated then it builds up and BAM! You get a melted cable/connector!

                I never noticed any of those things. Using meta quest 3, AirPods and DeoVR/Heresphere, I never had issues with audio, body sizes or black walls.
                VREdging is by far the best studio, especially for The Handy!

                rerun119 In deovr it's horizontal offset, in Heresphere you have Right (Scale). They do something similar.

                    fenderwq Ok I see what you meant. I use that plus zoom. Also DEO added FOV scale, that seems to help shrink the video from all angles.
