AshSLR On Q3, the 10-bit thumbnail vids do not work in both apps (DeoVR + Hyper). That should be more than enough reason to have someone look into it.
They do work on Q3 when using the new webview in Hyper or the Meta browser (hub and regular website both work there).

Meta3 not sure of the version of DEO VR, but it is the latest one.

AshSLR The team should just use an up-to-date Quest 3 if they care to check.

The issue with the 10-bit preview mp4s in the apps is the same as in some desktop browsers: they will not start playing when hovering the controller pointer over the thumbnail. If I remember correctly, in DeoVR the static picture remains while in Hyper it is replaced by an empty black thumbnail. No need to screen-record a video.

How come? When AV1 was rolled out initially a big deal was made out of its efficiency and how it would allow higher quality at lower bitrates. Don't want to stir up a hornets' nest / get banned, but this seems to be a crazy 180. Didn't you even re-encode the whole back catalogue to AV1?

AshSLR That IS the latest version available. I'm on an Acer Chromebook Plus 514. Not a PC. App literally says 'you are up to date with the latest version'.

I've created a ticket for trans ai videos not scriptting correctly. It shows a heatmap but the toy does not follow the heat map at all or really do anything. There's an issue with trans ai scripts. It's been over a month and I still haven't heard back from my support ticket. Can anyone update and figure out what is going on? Ticket ID: 74385

stayhumble As mentioned in the ticket and in the other forum thread, the issue has been passed to the team. Unfortunately, there’s no ETA at the moment.

acjackson2431 As the issue doesn't persist on the 148.0.7778.xx version, it is likely to be fixed in the next Chrome update.
