They are saying the same thing, aren't they: Currently, 120FPS video can only be watched at 5792x2896 px with 8K decoders.
This 6K scene should play normally on Q3 at 120 fps: https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/stepsister-seduction-33623. This 8K scene plays choppy on Q3 at 120 fps and (for my eyes) normally at 90 fps: https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/gfe-deep-dickompression-46689.
If you see buffering, maybe you do have an issue with your wifi or internet connection. I am not sure but it could be that for 60 fps DeoVR automatically chooses a lower resolution to avoid buffering. For the 90 and 120 fps versions, there is only the max. resolution available, so maybe this is why you see buffering for these. The quality of your wifi signal you can check on the headset.
