Is any one else having trouble watching local videos with local scripts via deovr? I have an active subscription and i use thehandy and meta quest 3. This was working until about a week or two ago. My set up works if I stream a video and script from the app but when i try to open a local video, the video will play but the script no longer works. I assumed it would get fixed but not seeing anyone else mentioning it here alongside all the other issues the recent updates have introduced. Thank you

asdfgh1999, do you have both the video and the script on your headset?

asdfgh1999 I'm the exact opposite - local is fine, streaming is dead.

Yes they are. I verified in the file explorer and also when i play the same video file in a player like heresphere then it sends the funscript to my handy so is unique behavior to using the deovr app. This has been working previously until it stopped about two weeks ago. Thank you

asdfgh1999 My questions would be to you:

do scripts streamed off slr work?
have you ever gotton one of your personal scripts to work.. or is this the 1st try
have you dried restarting your pc, and updating your headset and your pc?

If you said yes to all that, then I would say I had a similar experience maybe 1 or 2 weeks ago. I also have the handy and the meta3. I had to change the type of wifi protocal I was using. It can be weird... headset and toy link and work fine, then one day they just decide nope. Here were some fixes I had with it not connecting, disconnecting, or not liking personal saved/local scripts:

I heard it only likes WPA3 but maybe this is only during setup? switch protocol from WPA2 to WPA3 if having 'wont connect' issues. Has fixed before. In other words, if is said it likes WPA3 but if having issues, go back to WPA2. Seems to decide not to connect randomly with no reason or warning.
last time had the 'wont connect' issue, i updated the hdy to newest version, 4.0 something. Newest version, in other words, and fixed issue.
use a different phone to connect and make sure unused phone has bluetooth turned off. (like if you have your regular cell phone, but maybe you have a spare phone with no sim card you use for around the house)
sometimes the handy randomly does not like 5g.. so switch to 2.5G. And if your phone is nearby and its connected to the app.. maybe either switch to 2.5 on your phone.. connect to the handy, then disconnect and go about normally on the headset. Kinda like initiates it to the proper setting, then you let it do its thing. Dont ask me why, its random. 5g noise cause everyones using 5g and not so many using 2.5 anymore? Idk

Thanks, i will take a look at protocol stuff you suggest and see if that helps. I can stream scripts and also if i stream a video but have a local script it works. The issue is only when using a local video and a local script (both loaded to the same directory in my headset's memory). I don't use a pc in my set up currently. Local videos with local scripts had been working for me until ut just stopped a couple of weeks ago. Also, i can load the same video in heresphere snd then that sends the script too so it's not that i don't have a solution i can use. It's just more if I'm streaming videos and then want to load up a local one, it's more convenient if i don't have to switch players. Thanks for your suggestions

the latest update on PCVR broke the thumbstick controls on the Quest 3. None of the directions on the thumbstick function anymore. do you guys look at reviews there? its been like this for over a week, and for me its unusable without it...

frozenorbit I was told by support that they removed support entirely for HapticsConnect for DeoVR/sexlikereal and scripts can ONLY be played with direct connection. Which basically means it's useless, as it does not work the same as HapticsConnect at all. It's ultra-jerky, it moves AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE to the next position instead of smooth or slow, and is closer to being punched in the face than a funscript. So much for lifetime scripts subscription being worth anything at all. It's a Vorze Piston SA if it matters.

Of course, on HapticsConnect app (android) I'm seeing similar issues where toy blames HapticsConnect=>blames website=>blamesHaptics Connect so maybe support was wrong? Maybe just telling me to connect directly cause they don't want to deal with anything? Either way, it's 100% broken right now.

JordanSLR This was still never fixed. It appears there is an issue with Sexbabesvr in general with the last 4 or so videos having the same issue with the AI PT mask being out of synch. I am using a Quest 3 via the latest DeoVR version.

I can no longer randomly shuffle through all my favourites.

Before when I brought up the controls the left window showed all my favourites and I could put it on shuffle.

Now it only shows the ones that were on the page when I selected a video and it only shuffles through those ones (12 I think). I have to exit and select another page to get more.

Edit: I'm using the deovr app on a meta quest 2.

Suddenly I cannot log in with my regular credentials.

When I click "Forgot Password" and enter my email address, I did receive an email with a link.

The link takes me to the My Account page, which will not allow me to change my password unless I enter my "Old Password," which has stopped working.

Whomever is responsible for your UI design is obviously not thinking through the user flows.

I have 12+ years of industry experience and could design a much more functional UX.
