Should we separate Suggested to videos you liked and AI recommendations?

Wouldn’t it be great to have a dedicated feed that highlights recent uploads from your favorite channels and models? Giving quick highlight to what’s new from what you like most.

Our current Recommendation System (RecSys) logic:
1. Similar videos to what you’ve watched before
2. “If you watched X and others who watched X also liked Y, then Y might be suggested to you.”
3. Items that align with your personal “taste” vector, re-ranked based on your most recent preferences

We’re also considering adding these new elements:
• Latest videos from channels you’re subscribed to
• Latest uploads from models you’ve liked
• Cold Pool Boosting: Highlighting fresh content that might interest you but hasn’t been widely viewed yet

To make it even more personalized, we’re planning to introduce auto-generated playlists within the same scrolling experience (carousel-style), such as:
• “Scenes with [Your Favorite Genre] You Might Like”
• “Scenes Featuring [Model Name]”
• And more tailored categories…

...i was thinking last night of how useful a feed would be when you're on the headset that just lists all the latest from your selected interests, would save a lot of faffing about...

doublevr Would it be possible to set up something like a 'personal feed manager' on the website in which you could check/uncheck all the different ingredients that determine what appears in the 'for you' feed?

Maybe it would also be helpful to have some kind of weighting system for each ingredient. There are some categories that occur in almost any video (like blowjob, cowgirl), so the personal feed may contain too many fav category recommendations I actually don't want to watch. Therefore, it might help to tell the feed to show me, for example, 40% fav performers, 30% fav studios, 20% you might like, 10% fav categories.

All good ideas, I'll look forward to seeing the playlist suggestion improvements. But whatever you do with them, please include a refresh button rather than constantly automatically refreshing the suggested videos. I find it annoying to see multiple "For you" videos I want to watch, but when I click one and go back, they're all automatically changed to different suggested videos.
