OK, maybe I've been deluding myself, but I always assumed that SLR was protecting our privacy by not storing records of individual user watch history.

Anonymization would seem to be an automatic in this day and age of privacy concerns--and especially considering the content. Was it ever explained why they don't anonymize?

I think all paysites keep records of individual user account activities related to the use of paid services. The question is whether this information can be linked to the actual person behind the account, like the owner of the credit card used for payment. I would assume that when a payment processor is used the paysite does not have direct access to this information.

Example when I use to download a lot I'd think 🤔 man do these internet services see all these TBs getting downloaded it's gotta be a shit load downloading, I bet vr files are the biggest files getting downloaded, Man I filled a 4tb drive real quick, get anxiety thinking about it. I say no to downloads.

But yeah bro Data gets collected everywhere 🤷‍♂️

Apparently so. This is why I don't understand these kind of "polls". If SLR already has this kind of feature in web and nobody has requested it why to even bother discussing it even more? Economy works that way users want and desire something and companies produce it if they think it is profitable.

Has anybody requested this feature? If not people in SLR should definitely spend time more efficient, fix your software bugs (there are plenty of) and stop this kind of nonsense polls.

tells me what I have and have not already watched. There is too much content these days to keep a mental track on, I dont know why you would not want to have a history option. Some might want the ability to toggle it on or off, ok fine, but once you have the ability to have it at all yeah its a nice feature.

i didn't find it in the app, nor on the website, but i'm very glad i found it here. Watch history is definitely needed! I just watched this video from my suggestion feed, only to accidentally press the B button and go back to the list (out of habit with other player). However, the list was not the one i choose the video from so I could not find it back (you could say it autorefreshed). I kept searching, no success (couldn't remember the title either). Luckily thanks to the watch history, I found it 😌 Please make it accessible in the app.

Btw, when watching a video in the app, I often click through on an actress, which then shows a list of all vids with the actress. However, from this list, I can't seem to go back to the video i was watching, and from there to go back to my original list. I hope you understand what i mean 🙂 navigation could be improved.

Update: i just found out, on the website, history is in "my library". That would be an excellent place to put it in the app too 😉

It would be interesting if the history could also show you the date you watched something.
