Just like in many places, anytime you are trying to something original, constructive, different, creative, etc, all the NPCs will look for a chance to shoot their poison/spread their misery (like so many bugs to the light). These are all the people (not everyone on the forum, the NPCs) who are the former teacher's pets and hall monitors, striving for a Brownie Badge for reciting the standardized trope of the day. IMHO the market needs creativity, spirit, passion, fun, etc... and just like so many successful things, there can be all kinds of naysayers, all the while the demand will speak for itself.
