Yes! Bro I emailed vrcover a while back around the time the pro came out, I said some consumers are looking for a face guard that's open and this was around the time pt just started, we finally had color due to the pro pt, and sum who had the pro said it was cool having it open the way it is for pt. But I think they never made one or else I would of seen it, I actually sent them video to of a guy who made his own with 3d printing , smh they'll make it now.
But bro, if u have a face cushion u dont want u could cut some of the bottom half and leave the top, I use to do this with the gearvr, have more open space at the bottom and line up the cowgirl on top of me and I'd have my upper half in my view, kind of mixture of pt and vr, half and half, lol I was doing pt before pt bro Lol 🤦♂️
But that wore off after a while so i went back to less space open. Still was fun tho 🤷♂️
But yeah, imo I think it will work fine, I'm get one soon. 👍
Plus I want more open, some prefer no light at all, it breaks there "immersion" 🤷♂️
