Silly-Sausage Weird
Have you tried it, restart your headset, open YouTube vr, play sum music full blast volume, turn on screen record and then turn it off, after the pop up notification the volume drops but never come back up, I'm wondering if any one else having this issue? q3
If you do it again after, the volume stays the same, restarting it makes it go back to its original level, louder, idk.
Vrsumo2017 I restart my headset possibly twice a month, restarts usually cause issues so like to avoid updates /which are usuallly downgrades with more adverts on any device
I don't think i have ever upated an app in the last 3 years and thought it was it better - usually more adverts and a way of providing more adverts
i' ve stopped updating on my iphone due to this shit and all devices to be honest = too invasive
JordanSLR guess I noticed it this week bro, but I noticed small Lil issues here and there all the time but it's just more then usual right now
Vrsumo2017 See the flickering around the edges on the thumbnail, I see that and i see it on letters and icons too, not sure if its the deo app or the quest3, the quest 3 been acting funny to lately.
Here we go again, Bro.
My Quest 3 is acting up with a bunch of glitches: YouTube crashes, DeoVR crashes, the remote loses signal (even after I resync it), and the volume randomly drops after notification, I’m also noticing pixelation, particularly around the outer edges of the display in games.
Now, there’s another issue, and I’m not sure if it’s the DeoVR app or the Quest itself. I’ve only noticed it in DeoVR and can’t replicate it in the Meta or YouTube menus. What I’m seeing is a kind of pixelated shadow effect.
For example
pay attention to the words “Theatre in Paris” on the thumbnail. As I move my head, you can see this shadow-like pixelation running across the text. It even affects the whole menu, but that part is the easiest to demonstrate.
Anyone else having these problems?
Lol, when you're in the headset, you just know when something feels off. Lil glitches here and there, and yesterday was a prime example. It took me three attempts just to open DeoVR. The three loading dots would appear for a bit, but then the app would crash. Normally, I don’t report every single glitch, but when it becomes frequent and noticeable, I start wondering, "Wtf is going on? Is it my headset or just the latest meta updates?" And sometimes it effects other apps
It feels like every time there's an update, we get some kind of glitch. Sometimes they’re minor, but lately, my headset’s been acting up more than usual. Anyone else having these issues?

Have you tried, powering off for 10 seconds and re-installing - Sorrrrry couldn't help myself - But genuinley no issues apart from drift to the right similar to my Q2, which makes it an OS issue that won't be fixed
Vrsumo2017 What's your Quest OS build? v69? v71?
BTW - the drift is not a DeoVR app issue - It's a Meta issue as i have the issue in other apps !
Silly-Sausage the drift is not a DeoVR app issue
The shadow over the text?
I tried to see it in the meta menu and tried in YouTube but I could see it. But if u see it too then it must be a meta, or sum update thing
SchnuppiLilac v71
Vrsumo2017 Sorry it's a different issue, i pesonally have an issue watching any movie in my Q3 headset and Q2 where the screen i am watching slowly drifts to the right, worse on Q2 but my brand news Q3 also does it, and i have to re-centre every 1-2 minutes otherwise the image i am watching willl go out of view.
Again i've said it elsewhere, but if you're on a PTC v71 then you will have issues
Basically you need a reset, and get yourself on v69 simple as that - Yes it's hassle but that's you're issue - Sorry ! v71 has major issues by the sound of it !

Should probably be a pinned public post at this point: -
v71 PTC is not the current release and any issues caused are not due to DeoVR !
The current mainstream OS release for Meta headsets is v69 and issues caused by using a different OS 'Public Test Channel' will not be considered an issue !
The DeoVR Devs have a lot to deal with regarding bugs etc, but this is totally out of their hands IMO

So are we looking into the future bro?
I explained to one comment that meta updates can cause issues with other apps, and not all bugs are caused by deo updates, but if I'm on version 71v and the deovr has bugs with this version then that needs to be fix now before the official "mainstream" version gets released? Is that how that works?
So let me change my question
Anyone else having same issues as i am with v71 with the deoapp or quest headset?
Sorry... i was talking nonsense again
Vrsumo2017 I've noticed this comments shift happening as well on DeoVR.
And the one with the controllers where on start of the headset, the controller tracking doesn't happen. Reinstalling the batteries fixes it for the session until I try the headset on for the next time. Seems like a meta update issue, atleast this one.
Weirdly, there was another issue I had recently with Heresphere where on load of the app, I see this flickring of the screen. Doesn't happen on other apps. Lowering the refresh rate on HS fixed it sligthly, until I started to notice it again.
So many issues happening all at once.
Update: Seems like I was on PTC. Things appear to be working better now with it disabled. Need to see if all issues have died down.
