Every scene where things get up close, I see two images separately. I need to close one eye to see sharply, but then the 3d effect is obviously gone. Even if I zoom out I can't get most close ups viewable for me.

Using a meta quest 3. I can't be the only one. Is there another headset that does not have this issue?

I love SLRs UI and convenience, so I won't be using a different player. But I found the auto focus feature in DeoVR. By turning it on selectively I can get decent results. I hope they can improve on it soon!

bazzio yeah, you can't just leave it on, it's wonky af. But for nice close ups I quickly toggle it now.

I'd love to hear from the devs on the issue with close ups, as SLR has plenty of close ups their originals and they simply don't work well on their number 1 hardware recommendation, the Quest 3.

Iskalla Have you adjusted the slider on your headset that moves the distance between lenses? I screw around with mine on occasion when I have issues but I'm never sure if I set it up right. I can only tell when it is way off. Would be nice if the Q3 had a program that helped you set it up properly.

It is something that is not hard to fix, though perhaps not obvious on SLRs post production end.

60% of the way through my pmv it alternates between close up and far away. I made adjustments so that there is no double vision.

It is a simple fix on post productions end. You just need need to:
      1) Cut scene
      2) mask half
      3) duplicate
      4) on duplicated scene slide mask over to other side
      5) x axis shift first scene -150
      6) x axis shift duplicated scene +150

Metamucil yeah I've played around with that, and 61 usually works well for me. But not for close ups.

          Iskalla
Well, first of all to be clear you would need video editing software to do this

Iskalla There are other adjustments you can make and it is lame that there isn't a built in program to help you make adjustments and tune them in.

xeddin1 Yeah, of course, I just wanted to check if I don't have issues with close ups in your video.
