I consider myself as sharp-eyed and never noticed this kind of issue. I checked the wankzvr friends with benefits scene. There is distortion as you said. Congratulations for spotting that. I would have never spotted this.

On the other hand it is hard to imagine why you make this so big problem? As you said, distortion is at the bottom. Edges are anyway distorted and lack of overlapping (real sense of vr). Center of the video and 99,99 % of image is perfect. You could even zoom the distortion out of image. If this is real problem everything works fine with other player (HereSphere).

I think more interesting question is what the hell is dynamic mesh? What does it do differently and how does it produce this kind of distortion?

      Previously there were a separate mesh files for each preset.
      Now it’s a dynamic mesh system that gets adjusted to each video following its settings.

                  Upd regarding the issue.
                  Yesterday I watched mentioned scenes using the latest DeoVR release candidate. The issue has been fixed. Once dev team finishes all tests the update will be released. Approx estimation - next week.
