DeoVR is using up all my Quest 3 storage

When I click on the download button in DeoVR for a third party site, it used to stream the scene in the headset but not actually download it.

It now seems to be actually downloading the scenes and using up all of my Quest storage. I can’t actually find any of the downloads to delete them and it means I have to clear all data on Deo to get my storage back. This is problematic as I then have do redo all my settings and passwords and it’s a huge inconvenience.

Why has this changed? Why are the scenes now using up my memory? Can I stop this from happening? If not, can I remove the individual downloaded files and how do I find them?

Also, even when I do clear all data, the app itself takes up 17.23Gb of storage on its own. Why is that? None of the other players are more than 1Gb.

petermc if you look in the folders while in deo you can delete them.

I extracted a video using that mobile vr app but I couldn't find it when I searched for it in my media folder but when I used Deo to look for it its there to play, you can delete it too.

Vrsumo2017 where do you find them? I did look in the folders but every folder seemed to be empty.

petermc you looked while in the deo app? You click on the folder in deo?

You can also connect it to your computer and search in the folders, that might work too if you can't find a file.

What site you downloading from? I'll see if I can download too and find the files.

petermc the files are there, today mine magically appeared in my media folder in Meta 🤷‍♂️

In deo app, it's the local files folder and then look for downloads folder, that's where mine were before they appeared in my media folder.

This might be obvious, but in the Playa-app the files were stored in a hidden folder, so if Deo works the same way you have to allow "show hidden files/folders" in file manager and just hover over the maps until you find the one containing enough GB's of data.

Vrsumo2017 I definitely tried clicking in the downloads folder in Deo and it was empty. I’ll give it another go tomorrow night when I’m home.
