Thank you for the feedback guys, I 100% agree that it needs a calibration moment in the first 15 seconds and that a shot clock will help tremendously with matching the timing for a Cumshot. I will try to implement both of these things in the coming months.

I just have a huge problem with that at the moment and that's the issue that rendering the 8K scenes without a proper PC that is specifically built for the task takes forever.

If we use the same method we used on our low-res videos it takes 30 minutes to render a second.
We optimized the keying and got this down to 10 minutes, then frankensteined the two PCs we had together for an additional 20% boost.

I'll try to do add these features as soon as I can, but doing heavy edits on top of these huge rendering times will probably have to wait until we can get a 5090 or we find a way to bring the render time down.

A 7 minute blowjob would currently render 2 weeks and we want to release 2 scenes per week, I think you guys see the conundrum.

But no worries, we learn and adapt and soon we will be able to show you what we've been cooking, then shortly after we will add a test with counter and calibration for sure.

I also got myself a subscription to the other site that does passthrough and saw how they did missionary.
It's very interesting in the sense that you really get a deep look into the eyes of the model and can appreciate her beauty, but you can't really trick your brain into getting a body match, since the girl basically has to be on a chair and the male should move very slowly while hovering above her . It is a beautiful thing to add though for the first or second position, because it can be a turn on.

But it doesn't allow for a body match, it makes the scenario too fake and that untricks my brain, so it has to come early in a scene. I'll watch a few more of their videos to see if I can make a variation of that or if this is something that should only be done in the first half of the scene.

...welcome to the jungle. Hopefully it's already an LED! The fact you're stuck in Asia doesn't help, your external temps are gonna be way too high to efficiently cool with extraction or similar, i'd suggest sourcing some AC, or a room with AC to shoot in, set the bugger to max and let the room cool down as much as possible before you shoot.

Grow lamps have a specific spectrum that focuses on the photons the plants want, called PAR, which encompasses more than just human vision. We like green predominant light, they love blue, red, green, wtvr they can get their greedy chloroplasts round. NOT a photographer, but i would assume a photographic lamp would focus more on lumens than PAR and therefore be more efficient, as regards heat.

Also, if you have a decent reflector you can aim the light better, like wot proper photography lamps have. The lenses on LED grow lamps are kinda tuned for hitting stuff a short distance away, i think they have too much dispersal over a long distances to be efficient enough to not be maxing your heat out with.

If it's not an LED, if it's HPS or CDM, then yeah, lots and lots of silly extraneous heat.

        I saw the cut out, the cut out it self look great with the pt but a few minor adjustments is needed, scale was to small and it could use better image quality. But the cut out was pretty good. 👍

          This was great camera work for laying cg and worked great with AI pt, scale Lil small but it can fixed the horizontal slider.

            It was actually pretty spot on, I've mentioned quite a few times that during laying cow girl like this one, the camera should be so far back you see male models upper shoulder traps, upper chest, like you did here, the height of the camera above his face is great to, keep this method you did here in this scene in mind for future laying cg rcg

            The doggy was good too, kinda of non pov cause guys head kept coming in,, but I love how far the cam is back because it looks like im standing behind her and not my head hooverd over her mid back.

            Sum jav studio do a doggy with the cam above her upper back area but the male model will be leant forward as well, that's a good shot too but it's rarely done in the non jav vr studios.

            If you ever get a chance look at koalavr, when he uses the moving cam attached to his head you can see all kinds of angles that can be done.

            Like he'll do a up straight missionary but then he'll lean into a uppclose missionary. It's pretty cool to watch cuz you can see how a vr camera would actually be placed for certain positions.

            But I'm liking Amyvr! Can't wait to see more! 😍

              Sadly I have huge problems editing those files in Davinci, this one I colored and edited myself. I couldn't even preview it correctly, I played a bit with light to make it cosy bedtime and missed the huge camera shadow on the wall.
              But I really just wanted to get some 8k60 out the door, so please ignore the camera shadow. 😇

              Our Halloween scene and first 8k60 passthrough is rendering for a week and failed after a power outage, we are now rendering it in PNG and hope that we can finish it before Halloween, let's see. If not I am sure you enjoy these kittens even after the 30th.

              It is insane how much power is needed for 8k60 passthrough, if anyone wonders why there are no heavy edits on that content now I know. The week long render process is actually simplified, if we would render the scenes the same way we did 6k it would probably render for a month. Can't wait to get my hands on a 5090 as soon as those bad boys are available.

                  Yes those lights are the first thing I wil replace with the first paycheck. They are the main reason I have heating problems,but make everything look pretty nice and even for artificial lighting in the future.

                  When the camera access feature drops in January I expect that passthrough has to be lit this way.

                      I had to stop at that part just to say that, whata story she telling me too! 👍

                        After some hard dedicated work we were able to render the Halloween scene just in time for tonight.
                        It took a lot of work and tricks to finish rendering this in time and because the progress was so complicated I hope you won't judge it too hard.
                        After a first renderpass that took a week we had a power outage and needed to start over. So since we only had 7 days left we used Eos VR Utility to go to Equirectangular and then rendered to PNG Files and then combined them to this video.

                        Separating these steps into multiple renderings has cost us quality, but the scene still looks brilliant.

                        Some mistakes couldn't be fixed after rendering. On the right side in the last third of the video you can see greenscreen issues because the bed sheet became too crumpled. But we don't have the time to fix this if we want to release before All Hallows' Eve.

                        I hope this release will be something special and a nice treat for the community at Halloween, I promise to remaster the scene next year when the 5090 dropped and it will not take me a week rendering time for 20 minutes passthrough. Until then we should have passthrough on Apple Vision Pro and it will be time to remaster all with HDR anyway. :-)

                        4 months later

                        Hi everyone, long time no hear. :-)
                        After months of waiting I was finally able to secure a 5090. I built a new monster PC around it and now we were able to finally start real editing on these passthrough videos.

                        After the first week we have some pretty decent results. We were able to scale and feather the passthrough videos, which makes them way more realistic looking. We were also able to color grade and still render in 10x the time it took on a 3080.
                        A 10 minute video renders now in 20 hours instead of one week. Expect new videos dropping im the next week.
                        First will be a Amy passthrough blowjob in 8k60, which has been done last year on the 3080, but never got published.
                        Then for next weekend will be Gael Blowjob 8k60, the first 5090 edited video. I will bump this thread then and look for feedback.

                        There will be 2 videos per week for the next month, then we will put them all together in a BYOJ.
                        We will then do new shootings with new girls in April and hopefully be able to produce regularly.

                        11 days later

                        The first new passthrough scene has been out since the weekend and we realized now more than ever how important it is to add a dick match at the beginning.

                        Basically our scenes are working the best when you tilt your head down, look at your dick and then reset the tilt position by holding the oculus button.

                        Then adjust the zoom with up and down until the dick in the video matches your dick position, which is usually around 1.15-1.25x zoom.

                        After this the scene will be matched to your body and it can produce a weird ghost touch effect for some people when the girls are touching your chest and legs and your immersion is high.

                        Over the next week's we will refine this process and our big hope is still that Melody and newer sex toys will have a visual marker that DeoVR can see and anchor the scene on it, so the user doesn't need to do the body match calibration.

                        Next weekend our newest scene will launch with new innovations. We have readded the bed and male body to the non passthrough version to ground the scene.
                        This will hopefully improve the views of non passthrough devices, because our pt scenes are not very popular for VR only users and I totally understand it is missing something.

                        This is a first step into grounding the scene for VR and the next step will be to add fake backgrounds.

                          Use a better app where you can precisely drag the video into position instead of having to reset the UI position. That's so 2020.

                              If you can tell us how we gladly do it. Apparently you can access the DeoVR settings with a JSON file, but we have no idea how to do that yet on SLR uploads.
                              It is definitely planned to make this easier on the viewer, but without help from the dev team we can only do what's possible and explained on the documentation.

                              Getting a dick match is basically nearly impossible without a visual marker, that's why I hope that SLR will add one to Melody to automate the process.

                              Please understand that editing the scene at all just became possible with the 5090, before that hardware upgrade any edits on passthrough content were a nightmare that took 30-40 seconds to show a single edited frame and basically just crashed all the time.

                                  After you find the perfect distance for the camera and the dick for filming. I think you should use a laser tape measure. They are very accurate. Tape it to the camera or find a spot that is usable over and over.

                                    We have readded the bed and the male body back to ground the scene for VR users.
                                    We have nearly figured out how to scale the Canon R5 Mark 2 correctly so the girls aren't giants and you can still get a dick match with scaling.
                                    The scene works best with 1.15-1.25 scaling in DeoVR. We can't place the camera closer because of the actors head and this scale fixes the offset.

                                    I am looking now for feedback from you guys, feel free to critique the technical side of the video and if it doesn't work for you please let me know.
                                    I think we have managed to create the technically best passthrough scene to date and now we can tackle the next few things:
                                    add backgrounds behind the bed to make the scene more interesting in VR
                                    automatic dick match problem in passthrough (need Deo/SLR help for this)

                                    How to get a perfect dick match:
                                    Sit down or lie down comfortably
                                    Look at your dick and press and hold the Oculus button to rotate the scene.
                                    Push the right analog stick up to scale the scene. This will pull the virtual dick closer to you. If you overscale push it down until the virtual dick 100% matches your own dick position.
                                    Then rewatch the beginning where Amy is touching you (0:08), it should match your own upper leg and if your immersion is super high you may even feel ghost touches.

                                    I personally get this effect when the scene is perfectly matched and find it super fascinating.
                                    I hope we can convince @doublevr that this is important, so he allocates some R&D to it before Melody is finished.
                                    We need a visual marker on that machine and some DeoVR magic for autmated dick match in passthrough.
