Arsians_com This video is in 5.7k, we have since upgraded the camera to deliver 8k60 content and redid the scenes, but we want to release the three prototype scenes we rendered first since they were a lot of work.

The output we’re seeing doesn’t appear to be 5.7K—it looks more like 2K, which is far below the quality expected from 6K or higher footage. Whether it’s a test or not, if he says the test footage is 5.7K, that quality should be evident. Regardless of the camera capturing 6K or 8K, improper rendering can severely degrade the quality. It’s possible that a proxy was rendered instead of the main file. This may suggest an issue with his computer and not the camera itself.

Addressing the quality isn’t an insult or nitpicking—it’s constructive feedback to help identify potential problems. Do you believe the output was truly 6K? That’s the claim he made. If his goal was to deliver 6K-quality footage, then the attempt failed. Unless he resolves the rendering issues, upgrading to an 8K camera won’t improve the results—the same subpar quality will persist if the rendering process remains flawed.

        It's the Evo 3D, if you check the AmyVR videos that have been filmed with the same camera it has the same issue, but a much simpler editing pipeline.
        I don't think there is a way to improve those,the right eye will always be softer than the left.
        Until end of the week I will have released the 6 videos from the old camera and hopefully we will have the first 8k60 video ready. I expect that a single scene will take 3-5 days to render, so gotta start to render today for Friday.

        I am myself excited for better quality, but porting the Canon workflow on top of the alpha passthrough workflow is a huge beast that needs taming first.
        On that camera you need to e.g. manually align the eyes vertically which the Evo did automatically.
        Anyway,there should be 3 more videos coming today.
        I uploaded Arsians Gael Sex Level 1 on Friday and AmyVR as a Maid on Saturday.
        I also rendered the blowjob training level with both girls together again because there was an error.
        This scene will have some Greenscreen issues. You will see Amy had blue hair before, which interfered with the greenscreen. That's why she changed her hair colour to red for newer shots.

          shot with a 5.7k, I.E., 6k camera? If so, you either rendered a proxy, exported wrong, or your computer is not strong enough to render at the desired quality.

          In any scenario, I am doubtful that an 8k camera will produce the desired outcome if you are not using the correct render settings or if your computer simply isn't strong enough. If it takes 3-5 days to render I am going to guess you have around 32gb of RAM. Which is not a lot.

              xeddin1 the resolution isn't important if the sensor and lens are trash. The Insta360 Evo is a consumer level VR Cam from 2019, you just can't compare it to a modern Canon. If you watch older VR Home Videos from that time they all look like this.
              The video you just linked was rendered by a professional editor, the AmyVR videos were done by me. Both have the same problems. I don't think quality on these can be improved, but they are also not unwatchably bad.

                      Vrsumo2017 If you like Sport games then check out Eleven Table Tennis, it's basically a 1:1 Simulation of the sport,love it.
                      If you need something relaxing check out Puzzling Places, you puzzle together real places that were scanned with Photogrammetry.
                      Another game that could be for you is Until you Fall, it's a roguelike game where you fight through hordes of enemies, also a good workout.

                      Upcoming games to look out for until the end of the year: Batman, Behemoth and Metro: Awakening.

                            I've finally had time to watch some of the test scenes.

                            Scale-wise, I'm finding that at default 1.00x zoom in DeoVR (on Quest 3) everything look a little bit undersized. I'm finding a 1.10x or 1.25x zoom is a better match. I don't mind it too much, it's far less jarring than having an elephant-scale model tower over you.

                            Definitely found the ghost hands distracting - especially for the moneyshot. Of course you already know to address this, but I wanted to confirm after watching your actual vid.

                            Two major thoughts:
                            Since your editing/greenscreen keys out everything flat, it's difficult to know what body position/angle to match with (e.g. lying down and eyes to the horizon, seated and head tilted down, etc.) This is unlike SLR PT videos that show the male actor posture and room edges/corners when PT is disabled. You don't need to copy SLR PT, but it could be helpful to have info (maybe an icon?) showing what posture the scene was shot in. Maybe show it briefly after the title card, or even in the video thumbnail?

                            Also, it's really difficult to anticipate the climax (which as a viewer, I always want to match). This is partly from lacking body language cues from the male due to PT, and the inexperienced female model who won't prompt/command the cumshot (which I fully understand is the premise of your series). Personally, I would appreciate some sort of signal that the cumshot is near. (Just throwing it out there: a 30sec countdown timer tucked away on the ceiling or somewhere hidden?)

                              I think the scale has to do with the IPD of the Evo he used, I used to own that camera and unless your subject is less than a foot away I do remember scale being an issue. Then again he will be switching to the canon lens and we already know how most people feel about the scaling with that system hahaha I guess nobody will be pleased with scaling unless you mod your lens like SLR has or you use a K1, K2, or FMDUO system lol

                              I've tried passthrough with my system as well and also defaulted to greenscreen instead of alpha PT, it was just too cumbersome of a workflow for a hobbyist like myself but perhaps he can adopt it since it seems like he may be pursuing this as a full time job eventually. I think that even if you use chromakey instead of alpha, you can simply add a quick frame with a position diagram in between each change to let the viewer know what position to change to next? I know its not ideal or some may say it breaks the immersion but hell, switching positions is already jarring as it is, so a smooth transition with a position graphic may not be that bad. I see these quite often at the start of CGI VR scenes.

                              The anticipation part is an interesting point, I never really put any thought into it but it does make sense, I think for the most part we are all fairly conditioned to the same type of progression or peek at the progress bar periodically to know when the climax is going to happen. But now that I put a little more thought into it I do notice that a big part of it falls on the girl performers responsibility to sort of queue it up by what they say leading to it and also the male will often start to squeeze the girls arm or leg to let them know he is close to blowing up which prompts the girl to quickly change position to finish him off. Very interesting insight.

                                Thank you for the feedback guys, I 100% agree that it needs a calibration moment in the first 15 seconds and that a shot clock will help tremendously with matching the timing for a Cumshot. I will try to implement both of these things in the coming months.

                                I just have a huge problem with that at the moment and that's the issue that rendering the 8K scenes without a proper PC that is specifically built for the task takes forever.

                                If we use the same method we used on our low-res videos it takes 30 minutes to render a second.
                                We optimized the keying and got this down to 10 minutes, then frankensteined the two PCs we had together for an additional 20% boost.

                                I'll try to do add these features as soon as I can, but doing heavy edits on top of these huge rendering times will probably have to wait until we can get a 5090 or we find a way to bring the render time down.

                                A 7 minute blowjob would currently render 2 weeks and we want to release 2 scenes per week, I think you guys see the conundrum.

                                But no worries, we learn and adapt and soon we will be able to show you what we've been cooking, then shortly after we will add a test with counter and calibration for sure.

                                I also got myself a subscription to the other site that does passthrough and saw how they did missionary.
                                It's very interesting in the sense that you really get a deep look into the eyes of the model and can appreciate her beauty, but you can't really trick your brain into getting a body match, since the girl basically has to be on a chair and the male should move very slowly while hovering above her . It is a beautiful thing to add though for the first or second position, because it can be a turn on.

                                But it doesn't allow for a body match, it makes the scenario too fake and that untricks my brain, so it has to come early in a scene. I'll watch a few more of their videos to see if I can make a variation of that or if this is something that should only be done in the first half of the scene.

                                ...welcome to the jungle. Hopefully it's already an LED! The fact you're stuck in Asia doesn't help, your external temps are gonna be way too high to efficiently cool with extraction or similar, i'd suggest sourcing some AC, or a room with AC to shoot in, set the bugger to max and let the room cool down as much as possible before you shoot.

                                Grow lamps have a specific spectrum that focuses on the photons the plants want, called PAR, which encompasses more than just human vision. We like green predominant light, they love blue, red, green, wtvr they can get their greedy chloroplasts round. NOT a photographer, but i would assume a photographic lamp would focus more on lumens than PAR and therefore be more efficient, as regards heat.

                                Also, if you have a decent reflector you can aim the light better, like wot proper photography lamps have. The lenses on LED grow lamps are kinda tuned for hitting stuff a short distance away, i think they have too much dispersal over a long distances to be efficient enough to not be maxing your heat out with.

                                If it's not an LED, if it's HPS or CDM, then yeah, lots and lots of silly extraneous heat.

                                          The doggy was good too, kinda of non pov cause guys head kept coming in,, but I love how far the cam is back because it looks like im standing behind her and not my head hooverd over her mid back.

                                          Sum jav studio do a doggy with the cam above her upper back area but the male model will be leant forward as well, that's a good shot too but it's rarely done in the non jav vr studios.

                                          If you ever get a chance look at koalavr, when he uses the moving cam attached to his head you can see all kinds of angles that can be done.

                                          Like he'll do a up straight missionary but then he'll lean into a uppclose missionary. It's pretty cool to watch cuz you can see how a vr camera would actually be placed for certain positions.

                                          But I'm liking Amyvr! Can't wait to see more! 😍

                                            Sadly I have huge problems editing those files in Davinci, this one I colored and edited myself. I couldn't even preview it correctly, I played a bit with light to make it cosy bedtime and missed the huge camera shadow on the wall.
                                            But I really just wanted to get some 8k60 out the door, so please ignore the camera shadow. 😇

                                            Our Halloween scene and first 8k60 passthrough is rendering for a week and failed after a power outage, we are now rendering it in PNG and hope that we can finish it before Halloween, let's see. If not I am sure you enjoy these kittens even after the 30th.

                                            It is insane how much power is needed for 8k60 passthrough, if anyone wonders why there are no heavy edits on that content now I know. The week long render process is actually simplified, if we would render the scenes the same way we did 6k it would probably render for a month. Can't wait to get my hands on a 5090 as soon as those bad boys are available.
