I just checked to see if SLR had made any progress on supporting Apple Vision Pro and was pleasantly surprised to find that there's a new immersive experience. That's encouraging, but when I went to watch a video, it felt like the stereo projection was wrong. Is this a known issue? I'm no expert on VR but it felt like the stereo disparity was too strong or something... it was uncomfortable, and difficult to get the left/right images to converge.
Also, navigating the immersive UI required moving my head to point to a widget, because the eye tracking didn't seem to work. Maybe also a known issue? Sorry if I'm stating the obvious. 🙂
Anyway, I'm excited to see the progress! I hope the SLR staff can work out the kinks because if so I'd love to subscribe. I bet that AVP owners are, on average, willing to spend some $ on software and content.
