Maybe we can for moving to the bed room scene, and etc
That’s some cool moving camera work
Anything new is always worth doing
xeddin1 European VR studios already tried it out and stopped doing it
Hairsational
I'll be honest I don't even really know what new feature was happening in the video. Was it the cosplay, the transitions, the camera angle?
100% yes. The fixed camera is too restrictive.
Moving camera works especially well panning up and down girls body as she is undressing etc. Just small adjustments to get the camera in a better place is best.
Sins VR use one, and I guess Czechvr still do as well.

xeddin1 In the title: moving camera
Jeff777LUFC Sins VR use one, and I guess Czechvr still do as well.
Oh CzechVR is doing it a lot for intros and solos
Yeah, works great for solos. Much much more interesting than a fixed camera. My favourite CzechVR are the casting scenes with the camera slowly working up and down the body .

doublevr Quite a few european studios do it. Only ones who are still in the game have quite stable setups and majorly for non-pov.
This has it for the first half.
Some excellent camera work here with non-pov for the entire shoot I believe.
Another one
Excellent cam work in this
LittleCaprice had it for the entire scene. pov I suppose. But issues like head getting cropped are difficult to avoid
And I think Jav also does it for close up missionary with moving cam.

doublevr That's nothing new, StasyQVR does that all the time, but it's really inadvisable. This approach isn’t immersive since it’s not POV; as we should walk with the camera to feel immersed. Plus, it causes dizziness and motion sickness for a lot of people. Some VR games have an option to reduce motion sickness by limiting the FOV when walking, but I’m not sure how you’d integrate that into your SLROs.
BadoinkVR has been doing this for the last few months, specifically in their 18VR (EU) scenes, and as far as I know, they’ve had zero praise and a lot of negative feedback for it.

[deleted] Can't comment on others but if you look through the comments of these, there's hardly anything negative on the motion and camera angels. Rather there's quite a bit of praise for the moving cam. Reminded me of another studio that does it right - VRPlayful. See it for yourself.
Unless there's some major messup with fast motions or jitter(like here), I haven't had issues with motion sickness.

alphaRonaldo Personally, I struggle with motion sickness, and even though I've played a lot of VR games, I still can’t get used to it. I need to take a break every 10 to 20 minutes of gameplay, or I might end up feeling really sick.
For me, a VR scene is most immersive when I actually feel like I’m the guy in the scene. That means the male body needs to be in the frame, and if the camera moves, I should be walking in the same direction in real life. That’s why still positions work best for me. If you’re the guy in that comment or if you think a moving camera enhances immersion, I’d love to hear how it works for you and any tips you have for getting into it.
I’ve watched a lot of scenes with moving camera intros, but I always skip those parts. thankfully, they’re only about 5 minutes long. Still, I hate that they replace proper intros with these. It feels like the moving camera is just a lazy shortcut invented by those EU studios to avoid putting effort into creating a real intro scenario, especially since most of their performers are non-English speakers.
Badoink's Mod responded to someone who didn’t like it, saying they're actually going to stop shooting them.
Isn't the answer here "use it for some things and not for others?"
I mean honestly I don't really understand what there is to debate about it.
Personally I feel this could be very interesting to use in openers to add some cinematic flair like a Brazzers video. 5-10 minutes of model posing / teasing / whatever and then back to scene. There are tons of uses.
So the question, I would suggest, should not be whether or not we want it. But where and when there could be a good use case for it.
[deleted] Hey, that's interesting how motion sickness can affect people differently. Sadly I'm not the guy who put that comment.
For me it hasn't been as problematic per se. My first time was when I tried some seriously badly shot motion VR and it felt weird. But I always found the angles interesting as fixed shots never gave such views. This got me trying out other ones until it felt mostly okay. Later I got introduced to well shot moving cam scenes and it's been uneventful from here on. I hardly play any vr games as well.
I'd suggest you to try such well shot scenes to get used to it until it feels normal. Don't think there's any magic pill to solve this. I've seen people who have motion sickness when travelling in cars. They get exposed to travelling quite a lot until motion sickness fades away.
Not medical advice. It's on you how comfortable you are with it.
Yes, it can make a scene more interesting and is a more exciting way to focus and bring attention to the girl. I think it could be good for the scene. But at the same time and for a very selfish reason, I'd say no because personally I'm enjoying VR scenes the most in passthrough and moving cameras to me pretty makes scenes unwatchable in PT mode. So for the good of the scene, yes, for my own personal use, no lol.
Hard no for me, unfortunately. The motion makes me physically sick.
