adinihsan VREdging doesn't release any re-used content (for each shoot, there is one softcore and one hardcore version). If anything, complaints like yours have resulted in that studio's quality going down because they are not allowed to release "full versions" anymore, instead having to do two releases that are disjoint when it comes to actual video frames. The previous situation (softcore release to keep the edging identity + one full release) was definitely better than what is happening now.
That said, I agree that removing videos and then re-uploading them at a later date is clearly a scummy way to circumvent the "no-duplicates" rule that SLR introduced. I think it also shows that trying to introduce strict rules is a fool's bargain. Bad actors like RealHotVR will find ways to exploit any loophole to get around the intended effect, while other studios get hurt in the meantime. The better solution would clearly be a warning/strike system, where bad faith actors are permanently removed from the site.
